Yeah my customer service sucking too.

Starting to get angry. Ordered RhinoShield Mod case last Sunday from Evolutive Labs website. Said would ship in two to three days. Emailed them yesterday morning asking about if my item, that I paid for express shipping on, had shipped and no response yet. Not a good impression to give people spending $80 on a case...

Noticed a lot of the MOD case parts shipping end of Dec early Jan 2018 from HONG KONG. :p

That’s the thing... when I ordered mine with black back it says in email confirmation I received and on their site that black back shipped early December. Now black back on their website says late December early January. If they think I’m waiting six months on them to get their crap together they’re wrong. They need to go ahead and ship with clear back if they can’t deliver black back I ordered in a timely fashion then send black back later.

”Early December” & now their site says late December early January.

Baffles me that a company can take ~$75 for a case and not deliver decent... or ANY customer service. Done a lot of business with them in the past and really evaluating my relationship with their company and crappy customer relations. I will say, until this point, I’ve never had any problems with their products nor customer service.

Still haven't heard back from the support team since the initial response on Friday. Hopefully I dont have to initiate a chargeback just to get them to respond.

It will take them until tomorrow to respond probably.

I’ll spare details but it’s very likely this is the last time I’ll do business with their company myself. ‍♂️

you should try our new Nova Bumper cases! iphonexbumpers.com :D They'll ship next business day, from the USA!

Anyone have a way to improve the grip on the RhinoShield Mod? Wonder if you took some sandpaper and scuffed up the sides alittle if it would improve it from how slippery it is?

Sorry guys, totally forgot to take a picture before boxing it up and sending it back. I'm sorry to hear that somebody else experienced this as well, Rhinoshield cases have been my favorite, go to cases since the first crashguard and this fit issue on the mod surprised me.

To try to describe it in words a bit more, at the bottom at the charge port the case bowed out enough that you could push it back probably about a 1/16 of an inch. I know that doesn't sound like much but I'm used to the near-perfect fit of the playproof and crashguard. You could see AND feel the looseness.

As for the buttons, only the volume up button had a nice, "clickable" feel to it, the volume down button and especially the power button were mushy.

I may give it a second chance and see what the black friday sale is like and buy another one. The return process is relatively easy, BUT....make sure you take a picture of the case and the box and any accessories you get as soon as they arrive because in order to return an item you need AT LEAST 2 pictures of the item "in an unused or near new" state. You also need to pay for return shipping.

To help others decide on this or not, it's not especially grippy but it isn't terrible. It's nearly the same as my crashguard but because of the rounder counter it's a little easier to grip than the crash. It's wider than the playproof but not quite as wide as the crashguard.

Just uploaded a full review of this case which includes a super easy fix to the non-clicky button issues many have been experiencing. Check it out here if you'd like:

I got my Mod in the mail 2 days ago and within minutes decided to send it back. I haven't seen anybody mention this so I'm wondering if I got a bad case but mine doesn't fit well at all. Down at the bottom by the speakers/lightning plug the case bows out instead of fitting tight and flat across the bottom of the phone. I put the back plate in and tried it and same thing. It's a pretty large gap, almost like a U shape. I contacted Rhinoshield and they didn't acknowledge that it could be a problem and just gave me instructions to return for a refund.

So, anybody else see this or was mine an exception? Should I try to order another one or just be happy with my playproof?

Mine is completely bent
I mean I am seeing the same problem you talked about, lower part of the bumber has a small gap, but also my case is bent from the top to the bottom (Kind of the same shape as the LG G Flex)
What should I do ? Ask for a new one or for a refund ?

Mine was bowed out at the lightning port too right out of the box. Took 2 weeks of back and forth emails to get the return authorized and a month overall for my refund.
