For 2018, I averaged 210 miles of exercise per month. For January 2019, Apple has challenged me to log 333.6 miles. I don't even know if a sudden increase to that degree is even safe. :eek:

Anyone else receive an absolutely ludicrous Activity challenge to start the year?

When did you get your challenge? After mid night in your time zone?
 
At least you have .2 in the books! That does seem a little steep! I haven’t seen mine yet!

Yes, just a few minutes after midnight Japan Standard Time.

It's now up to 7 miles. But there's no way I'm going to try to complete this challenge. Weather-permitting, I'll be happy with another 200 miles for the month.
 
Got off easy this month (coming from 60 minutes a day of exercise) to get 200% your move goal at least 4 times. My current move goal is 930, but on days I go for medium to long runs that’ll not be an issue keeping that move goal where it is now.
 
Me too. I have to double my move goal 8 times. Last month I had 77 exercise minutes per day.
 
I've been talking it easy due to health issues through December, only completing my activity circle 3 times yet I got challenged to do at least 30 minutes a day! Sheesh!
 
Mine is double my move goal for 17 days.

So I have it set at 500 and will have to reach 1,000 for 17 days. I’m going back to the cold snowy weather so that ain’t happening, unless I move my move goal down. ;)
 
I have to do 131.7 miles. I don’t know how many I usually do but I doubt it’s that many. I do need to move more though so we’ll see...
 
990 minutes of exercise....in theory it should be doable...but between kids and running my business...I can’t promise I will exercise every single day! Here’s to trying I guess! I think that is what it is it all about!

I work out 5 days a week so I'll just have to double a few workouts to get mine ;)
 
I’ve managed 2.7 of my 131.7 miles. I think it’s fair to say it’s not going well.
 
Phew! My challenge has changed from 131.7 miles to all three rings 26 times. That I can manage.
 
Mine is oddly easy this month. I need 20,900 calories, or about 675 per day. But my move ring is already set to 650 per day (and it gets closed EVERY day). According to the Health app, my average for December was actually 857 per day. So I'm not sure where they came up with 675, but I'll take it!
 
My Apple challenge in December was to complete 130 minutes (4,030 minutes total). I reached the total with three days to spare.

No way I'm going to try to log 333.6 miles a day this month, though.

Wow! That’s a lot of minutes!!!!!
 
I have to close all 3 rings 18 times in January. Should be a no brainer. Did it 26 times last month.
