Ha I like the 5S look better but I got the 5C and I'm glad...I hold my sisters 5 and its like cutting my hand! I figured itd be like a longer iPhone 4 but its not! Side note: My sisters iPhone 5 has sat in a case from day 1 and she took it out last week and the phone was all nicked on the corners and sides!

Yup.

Another reason I don't use cases. Grit gets in there. I posted pics in another thread of my 5S that I've had since the day they went on sale, never in a case. It's in perfect condition.

Take care of your phones, people! :D

Whatever this thick plastic band around the screen is, I don't think it's good.

I really, realllllly hope that it makes the display more durable. I would trade a bit of beauty and minimalism for a more durable display. It still looks better than any other phone out there, even with the plastic band around the display unit. It's almost unnoticeable anyways unless you are looking really hard.

Certainly not going to miss the unpleasantly sharp edges that leave your ears sore after a few minutes.

Really?

I think you may be pressing the phone against your face a bit too hard.

Or maybe you're being sarcastic, in which case, apologies for missing that.

No I genuinely find the phone uncomfortable just lightly against the ear. It gets pretty bad on a long conversation. This is with just the phone and no case.

agreed, it's a bit of a cosmetic step down on design. the chamfered edge looks so much classier.

i don't know what your definition of a mockup is, but the picture is of the leaked case and the leaked screen put together.

lol...

btw: cutting your hands, sore ears?... I mean seriously, is there a handbook on how to use iphones? hahaha

lulz... don't really care if u do or not haha.

I agree wid u on complainers tho.. always something people b*tch about.. it's an annual b*tchfest.

Just to be clear I never was "b*tching" about the sharp edges. They look pretty, but are uncomfortable for me. I never complained about them because I was going to buy the iphone either way, and I did. I just think the rounded edges would be way more comfy.

A mockup made from leaked unconfirmed pictures.

I know exactly what a mockup is.

Good riddance.

No more opening iphone boxes to see the chamfered edge already damaged from the factory.

RIP chamfered edge. I will miss you!!!!

I have to say, the chamfered edge of the iPhone 5/5s is my favorite design element of the phone! I think it gave it a nice shiny outline that gave it alot of class.
