I guess what I can glean from this thread is that anyone who likes their rMBP must be wrong about their opinion, and anyone who dislikes the rMBP must also be wrong about their opinion.

Super.

Mine doesn't lag but when I went looking for lag, there was some minor lag on FB but I've noticed that seems to be gone. It isn't a website I use often though. I was also having major problems with FB on my older computer so it was hard to notice the scroll lag issue.

I say get the computer and test it out yourself. If you like it, cool. If not, return it.

Best. Computer. Ever. Period.

I have the rMBP now for the third week (for home use) and it’s perfect! It sets new technical standards (not revolutionary but evolutionary). Superfast, pretty, stylish and sturdy. I think it will stay the most up-to-date device for the next two or three years at least.

As a professional cinematographer (DOP), photographer and film editor (since some decades) I can tell you that I’ve never seen something like the retina display before. I own iPhone 4 and iPad 3 but this one is even better (not only larger).

Excellent!

This is why I'm so befuddled.
