anyone who had this in mind would have enjoyed the design from the very first day they got it; not a few weeks before a new design comes out.

the only logical reason to cover a gadget which cost millions to design by the greatest designers and engineers in the industry with an ugly, swollen, $15 rubber case is to be able to re-sell it at a higher price.

I can resist getting that extra 50 bucks

Mine's been naked for a few weeks and will remain so until I upgrade in January. But, man, that thing's alot more slippery now.

Oh, kinky! ;)

OnT: What if people want to sell it? They don't want scratches.

Mines been in a Seidio rugged case since I unboxed it. Still in mint condition, and I want to keep it that way for resale purposes. Besides, I'm way to clumsy not to have it in a case. :D

I don't OCD about any of my cellphones. Just don't drop your phone and accept that wear and tear marks will show up.
It's part of the TOS of using something.

I've had mine completely naked since launch day.

Well no, I lied, I did have a screen protector on for like a month; I noticed it showed dirt a lot (I have a white 4S) so I just took it off & threw it away.
I've also bought a few cases, but then got rid of them because I couldn't resist the beauty and feel of just the iPhone itself. T
hen again, I bought and Olloclip (lenses for iPhone) and that forced me to not use cases.

But definitely, when I get my iPhone 5 or "New iPhone" I'm gonna rock it naked for sure.

I always rock my iPhone naked. I can't stand screen protectors or cases and I never will understand people's desire to reduce the appeal and functionality of their device.

I understand what you are saying, the case that I have is not big or anything like that. But one day I was walking into a restaurant and I took my phone out of my pocket and the phone just drop on the ground and started to spin a few times. Now I was scare that day if it was not for the case my phone would be crack.

I used to use a case, but I just think the form factor is about perfect without a case. I've addressed the slippery sides and back another way.

It's real wood (cherry) and just 0.010" / 0.25mm thick, including the adhesive. Offers great grip, some protection and the look gets better as the wood takes on my hand oils.

I'll do the same thing on the proposed new phone. Of course it helps that I work for the company that makes the thin wood...

Mine's been caseless, but it's gotten some scratches. Nothing a bumper would have prevented though.

Chances are a lot of you have cases covering up the nice 4 4S design. Take those cases off and enjoy your phone before you put in your desk/forget about it!

Wow, you guys are wild and crazy...oh wait, I've been doing this with iPhones for the past 5 years.
