I received the confirmation email exactly 9 minutes from launch time, still showing 17-21 date, but I could swear I saw an earlier date when I placed my order.

It might have got pushed back between the time you placed the order and the time it was actually processed.

Mine was Nov 3rd when added to my cart. Once I completed checkout it was pushed back to the 17th. Disappointing, but just gotta wait it out.

Anyone here considering waiting in line? I want to because I don't want to wait until Nov 17th to get my phone.

Well. I was able to order one via the website as I got tired of the app not working and ordered it 4 minutes in to the pre-orders going live. Got an original shipment date of Nov 10th thru the 17th. But it has since got bumped up and now preparing for shipment to be delivered Nov 3rd. Only problem is that this is the one I paid full price. By the time I got my app to work (to order it via the Upgrade Program as I was pre-approved already) that phone still shows in “In Process” with a delivery date of Nov 17th thru the 24th.

Not sure if they will let me return the one I will be getting on the 3rd and buy it again in the store under the Upgrade program. We’ll see! Else, I’ll just return it and hope that the second one gets sped up in the process.

I had the same issues regarding the storefront not opening until about 10 minutes after launch. My confirmation sent at 3:14 AM (EST), in the 17-24 group. However, I ordered another one from Verizon directly at about the same time and got a launch day delivery, Nov. 3. So I guess we'll see what happens, I'm hoping my Apple order get's pushed up since I bought the one through Verizon for my sibling's birthday so I can't really just take that one.
 
I did my pre-approval for the IUP and was up and ready at 2:01 central. I didn't realize you could up upgrade on the App Store app on your iPhone once the IUP pre-approval was completed. I was able to get into the App Store app on my iPad at 2:04, but wasn't able to complete the order. I finally got the store front to load at 2:11, with the Nov 17-24 delivery estimate.

I was irritated that had I been able to use the iPad app, I would have likely gotten Nov 3 delivery.

So officially, I ordered an AT&T 64 gb Space Grey at 2:11 central.
 
Sorry for being off topic but could someone point me to a thread or article that breaks down the cost of IUP vs buying phone in full?
 
Looks like Apple is pushing those with IUP later delivery dates to 11/3.

I'm an IUP customer and I still have a ship date of Nov 17-24. I wasn't affected by the financing issue, but my "prequalification" didn't appear to me until around 3:20am EDT, which prevented me from order on the website. Hoping to get bumped up a little bit, but I'm not hopeful it'll be all the way to Nov 3.

Same here, 12:15am order via APP doing IUP and still Nov 17-24. No change whatsoever.

Once the Apple Store app went live on my phone, I ordered my X at 3:05a and got Nov 3. However my wife's phone, the Apple Store app wasn't going live as quick...finally got to order around 3:11a. It said Nov 3 when I was placing my order and even when I paid for it. Then the email confirmation came and boom. Nov 17-24. I was like what? So, I called Apple and they told me it was "due to system overload" that I saw Nov 3 when ordering. They apologized and said they're getting a lot of calls about this very same issue...I didn't get anything for free, though. LOL. :rolleyes:

Hopefully they'll bump up some Nov 17-24's soon.
 
My credit card just got 2 preauth charges from Apple, I wasn't expecting this til like in 2 weeks. I guess this is good news. Delivery window unchanged though.
 
so no bumps unless you had 1up which you can't even sign up for as a tmobile customer
