There's a lot of chatter about 11/17-24 group getting bumped up on this other thread:

But those people are on iUP and they’re getting bumped to earlier delivery date because they bitched to Apple that they have entitlement as an iUP customer. This thread is about those who bought the X without iUP.

I’m not on iUP, I bought the X (T-Mobile), paid in full on 10/27 at Apple website at 12:17. I tried store app repeatedly but it wouldn’t open for me. I got email confirmation at 12:20 for delivery 11/17-11/24.

similar here, order still in progress, no charge, no movement. nothing so far.
I’m not on iUP, I bought the X (Verizon), paid in full on 10/27 at Apple website at 12:15 after repeated retries as verizon verification used to time out. I got email confirmation at 12:20 for delivery 11/17-11/24.
i think we will see movement this weekend if not earlier for sure.

Still order in progress for me. No charges to gift card. I placed my order at 3:13 am eastern. Email confirming order received 3:14 am eastern.

Same boat as you guys. It really seems as though the only movement for our date is if you're an IUP member.

No movement for me either. I’m AT&T, and my order went through at like 3:10 AM (EST) I’m thinking about going to an AT&T carrier store that’s near my house, early tomorrow morning.

ah another thread where i belong

AT&T Next Every Year
256 Silver
ordered ~3:15 EST
Delivery date: 11/17-24
OIP & no CC charge.

Crazy thing is, an hour later, i was able to finally get into the AT&T site (since the Apple store app already said 3-4 weeks) to order my gf's X. Hers is coming in tomorrow.

I will never order directly from Apple again after this mess. I could and should have ordered from At&T, as I have family that ordered same exact model online at 6:30am and are getting theirs tomorrow and I ordered at 3:07am and still 11/17-24

New pre-orders are now down to 3-4 weeks shipping even in the US now. I think most of us here will get our phones next week.

Bought 2 at full price: 256GB/Silver & Space Gray/T-Mobile

Both are still 17-24th, no charges to the card. Everything is still processing.

Luckily, given this happened two years in a row and I ordered at Best Buy so I'm getting mine tomorrow. I feel bad for the people that trusted Apple. People that ordered after you or didn't bother waking up in the middle of the night the next morning and ordered w/ 1UP got their order bumped. Apple will "let you try your luck at a store" - good luck standing in line over night again and not getting one. At 12:10 which is when many people were locked out of until - you could have ordered virtually at any carrier and gotten in launch day. Order at Apple-- your inventory got diverted to store inventory so they could get some PR on "the long lines are back". It's all marketing BS at loyal customrs expense being justified by "server load balancing" that kept you from even getting into Apple's servers until 10+ minutes after they sold out.

Yet all the 1up people which many of us can't join since we are on Tmobile - they all get bumped up to launch day or just after becuase "they have priority". Apple literally screwed people two ways with 1) server scalability which locked them out and 2) 1up which skipped the line ahead. Meanwhile many people order 3-5 units either 1) because they are scalping them to customers who were locked out of Apple's servers or 2) because they do this every year and realize it's pot luck which supplier will get them a launch day phone and they just return the ones that come later (again or sell them to folks who don't game the system).

In short- NUTS

Not hurrying to process orders is a good way to lose some customers....not majority of them bit few of them.

I think it’s bs that someone can order a phone today and get it the same week as those of us who pre-ordered last Friday within minutes of midnight.

Well I canceled my Nov 17-24 order. I’m at UPS now with my cousin, he’s letting me have one of his launch day phones!

Good luck guys, hope everyone gets bumped up!

*Update* one of the UPS boxes had nothing in it, looks like someone stole the phone out of the box

*2nd Update*

Walked into Best Buy and bought one!!

same boat...12 minutes in and I got the 17th-24th date. Hoping they bump up the shipping dates. first year I didn't get one on launch day ugh...black 256..no one better steal it. im staying home from work the day it gets delivered so its not taken from the doorstep...

Looks like all the people who have been bumped on on the iUP have pushed me back. I ordered 15 minutes after it opened 256gb silver. Got a Nov 17th to 24th delivery date and now it has been pushed back to the 20th to 28th. I contacted apple and they said delivery dates can change. Anyone else having this happen to them?

Updated***
I chatted with Apple this morning and they said that they had been trying to contact me since Sunday that I needed to cancel my order and reorder because there was a problem with my order. The person I spoke with at apple on Monday didn't say anything about this to me. They originally said that I was going to still get my phone by my original delivery window but now they are saying they can't promise that. I will never pre-order again!!!
