I'm

I'm hoping I wake up in the morning to discover my phone made it onto some kinda flight. :apple:

That would be nice. I'm thinking they might have skipped some scans with your group. It's happened in past years. The customs thing is kinda weird because it doesn't have to clear customs until it get to Louisville

Agree although I hear the upgrades will be more significant next year so it may be even worse. <sigh> One thing I learned this year is next year I'm picking the least popular color since I case my iPhones anyway. Lol.

The plane that landed in Anchorage 3 hours ago better be well on its way back to Shenzhen Bao'an Int'l right now! I'm stalking so many websites: flightaware, ups, packagemapping, this page, and an app called delivery. Call me crazy all ya want lol!

Processing since 9/9 5:36AM CST. Is apple even making 7+ Matte Black?

I can't wait for mine to eventually prepare to ship for 4-5 days. :)

iPhone 7+ Matte Black 128GB ATT, 9/9 @ 5:36AM CST

That's how I felt...I think that was the most popular model this year

For those who are currently sitting in Incheon Int'l airport the next flight is tomorrow's UPS99 which is scheduled for 10:14 PM local time or 9:14 AM Eastern. All of us that were pushed back a day today should be on that flight otherwise it will be another day. SIAP

Do you know for those of us with phones stranded by UPS in China last night, how our iPhones get to Incheon? I don't see any flights between the two. Also, if there are flights to Incheon from China, someone said the next flight leaves for Incheon at 4:xx a.m. something. True?

If I see any movement I'll post asap.

My understanding is that from ZhengZhou to Incheon they do not fly UPS planes they fly on China Southern which is a passenger carrier. So I guess they stow cargo on the planes as well. They run one daily 2 hour flight from CGO to ICN at 4:40 PM ZhengZhou local time.

Don't be surprised if a scan was missed and they magically appear tomorrow once en route to Alaska

Maybe this will calm us all down a bit. I looked at the trajectory of my Apple Watch last year which came from China. I can't get all the tracking details now - I suppose because it's been too long, but I received the shipped confirmation email from Apple at 1:26 a.m. on 6/1/15. And it was delivered before noon on 6/2/16, the next day!!!

Here is the tracking info for my sister's iphone that came on launch day. My guess is those of us who are estimated to arrive on 9/22 and are showing "arrival scan" in China will get an updated delivery day of Friday. Just going based on what happened with this shipment.

Found this in my search. Ups does fly from ZhengZhou. No flight has left there recently and flight aware doesn't show one scheduled right now. Looks like one left today but not my phones I guess.

I placed by order at 12:06AM PSt on 9/9 for a T-mobile JB+ 128GB. My phone went PFS on friday night 9/16 and finally shipped this tuesday morning 9/20. I think that apple just was not very prepared as is usually the case.

Congrats! Same order as you but 3 minutes later, still processing...

Wouldn't that just have been because it was launch day? Perhaps they could have been delivered on Thursday but launch day was Friday

I'm starting to think Apples original email with Friday delivery had knowledge that UPS didn't. Not seeing any movement for this long makes me think something is amiss. Just hoping that the scan updates just haven't come in and our phones are on track for a Thursday. Feel like Apple and now UPS is messing with us. Not as much fun as years past.
