Just had a thought. Wondering if second import scan is actually departure scan? Think that is the time a previous person said there's left Louisville. And think that is about the time I got email saying it WAS coming now

SO CONFUSING!!!

Is it possible to request that it not get put on the morning "Out for Delivery" truck and just get it at the hub when the hub opens in your local city? I'm getting sick of this circus and i keep having to push my "WFH" date.

I thought they had to do a "missed delivery" first, and then you could have them hold at hub for the next day. Ick.

There was a dude earlier that posted a screencap of no activity between arriving at Incheon and then arriving at Louisville.

I guess it depends on if the freight is offloaded, or if the plane just stops, refuels, and takes back off. Time will tell... UPS99 should be landing in about 45 minutes.

You got me. they wouldn't give me an answer when I asked that. Im assuming Apple wants their packages to arrive when it says on their site!??!?!

I could see that but considering they gave us October 4-10 dates and then deliver early, why would they tell us 9/26 and then want to deliver right on that date instead of early. Unless they like to contradict each other. I would think they would always want to under promise/over deliver. UNLESS they are going in some sort of order were some people are getting it tomorrow, some on Friday, etc. I dunno, so weird.

WTH are Apple's Special Operating Plans? Sounds like covert Ops. Lol.

Wait, weird thought, does this make sense: They strategically space amounts of orders out so that they can charge people at regular intervals so that they are able to show that they had "steady sales" through so many days/weeks? Instead of showing a huge spike the first few days and then a drop off?

Very possible. It is Apple after all

My best guess would be for cost reasons. Holding back a partial shipment for more phones that are ready to ship tomorrow.

I imagine they probably have some cutoff on how full they need the plane to be before they bring it to Korea, maybe it wasn't enough?

Seems like a lot of people fell into that category so I'm probably wrong, but I could see something like that happening.

Has anyone considered that perhaps Apple is having UPS target the date that we were originally given in the email? Many people may not even track the phones so if they open their email and Apple says delivers on Friday, won't most customers expect Friday?

I could see people taking the day off to wait for the phone. If it's early, it might trigger some support cases.

My wife's the other day delivered 2 days before Apple's estimate.

But nothing was charged consistently. My cc had a pending from last Saturday clear until last night when it finally was charged. Some people were charged right away even though still preparing to ship.

So this is interesting. I just live chatted UPS because i was wondering when I would see an updated delivery estimate (I had to put in a request to correct my zip code) and she responded with this:

Lorryn C.: That has been corrected it will be out for delivery tomorrow.
Benjamin: Oh, it will? Hmm I'm not seeing that reflected when I track.
Benjamin: That would be great though!
Lorryn C.: It will be updated online shortly. Do you have any other questions?

I'm hesitant to celebrate because I only just got a shipment notification this morning but wanted to post regardless. No idea what plane I'm on.
