Really a crap shoot at this point. A LOT of conflicting information. I am just outside Portland, OR and my phone is stuck in the China-Korea loop. Others have gotten scans etc. Many of us really aren't sure where our phones actually are at this point.

EDIT: Your's originated a day after me also and mine is apparently stuck in Korea still....

Yeah that's the crappy part. I really don't know where it is. If others have left Korea, why didn't mine? is it still there? Did it just not scan? BlAHHhhh

Maybe they are just running out of plane transport space. Not only do they have to transport all the pre-orders every day, but they have to move thousands more units for the stores on an almost daily basis as well. Some may literally have to wait for a flight to become available.

Probably a little late, but you can pay in full when you get there. I did not even have to tell them which phone on my ATT account i was upgrading. I just popped out my 6s Plus SIM after the restore from backup and came up fine.

I was able to find the same phone I preordered and picked it up around 6pm tonight. Tired of the Apple mess on this one.

The phone I picked today has a manufacture date of 9/12.

iPhone 7+ matte black 128GB ATT, 9/9 5:36am

I read somewhere from last year,A guy claiming he worked for UPS said that Apple actually buys the space on these planes just for the iPhones so they wouldn't have to compete for space.

Not just the jet black....ordered my matte black just minutes after launch....still no phone....granted I have "shipped", whatever the hell that means. Still in China tho so might as well be pfs. My first iphone experience is turning out to be a real crappy one.

It's not usually like this.

It really seems like corners were cut on the shipping this time around.

Stuck in processing and it's killing me, especially seeing posts from people saying their original ship date was Oct 20+ and theirs already shipped!

MB+ 128 GB Verizon Original date Oct 5th

Also new to apple, switching over from a note 5.
