Well we won't see anything until tomorrow morning. So talk to you tomorrow guys. Hope the phones appear in Louisville at some point during the night. If not well, see you for the next "Escape from China" episode and let's hope they make it this time.

So for those stuck at

Do we have a new flight to stock coming out of Korea? Lol
Yes, UPS flight 99 departs from Korea tomorrow at 8:55 AM EST. Looks like it'll follow the same path it took today, leaving Korea to arrive in Alaska, then to Louisville, then to each state's local airport for local delivery sorting. In the event that we're not on the flight heading to Louisville right now but make it on the flight leaving Korea tomorrow, we'll have our phones on Friday, assuming there are no major delays/mechanical failures.

This whole thing has been so disappointing. There should be NO reason our phones aren't on the flight heading to Louisville right now.

Once the plane lands in Louisville, how quickly might they get scanned that they arrived?

I had one import scan an hour after arrival and one more 8 hours later. Then departure another 5 hours after that. But during that time I also had text saying it was delayed for mechanical reasons so maybe your time will be faster!

Just got off phone with automated UPS suppport. Was told that my iPhone is in transit from the shipper and on schedule to arrive tomorrow! Hope the fembot was right!!!!

I remembered seeing this post this morning and decided to call and try the automated system. I read my tracking number twice just to double check, and each time it said my phone is "in transit" and should "arrive tomorrow".

It's interesting because my initial date was today and then changed to tomorrow. But I'm told three different things depending on where I look:

Actual tracking page: "Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later."
Calendar view page: Delivering today. (Obviously that's not the case.)
UPS automated phone system: Delivering tomorrow.

I know I'll get it when I get it, I just think it's kind of funny that one system can tell me three different things. I'm sure the actual tracking page is the most accurate.

Watching the phones trying to escape from China every morning feels like rewatching season 1 of Game of Thrones. Every time you hope they'll spare Ned Stark's life, but no matter what he gets the axe. Same happens with the phones as we are expecting them to leave, but the end result is the same!

Apple and UPS say I'll get it on 9/23/16...but mine hasn't updated. Should I expect a delay? Delivers to Portland, Oregon

Yours originated one day after me and mine is in Portland now. So if it has missed scans it is possible. But who knows!
