UPS Flight 63 is currently dropping altitude into Anchorage.....Shouldn't be much longer now til we have a touch down landing.

Simple. iPhones do not weigh 9 pounds. They are at most 1.5 pounds, if that, shipping weight. Also, the phones are coming from China. Shipments do not originate from "Ontario, CA".

Now, a question for you: what else might you have purchased from Apple?

This is what an iPhone shipment looks like:

iPhones and other Apple products can absolutely ship from Ontario, California (not Canada). The physical Apple warehouse is in Rialto, CA and Ontario is the closest UPS shipping hub, so that's where it originates. Phones that are already stateside and destined for western US destinations generally originate from there. Items coming straight from China, or those destined for an eastern US destination, tend to originate from the UPS hub in Kentucky.

Sweet Alaska lol

That's what I was thinking. Hopefully the 1:05ers will be on that. Unfortunately, I think that will put it in Louisville too late for delivery tomorrow so I think Monday it shall be.
It should get to Alaska 11:30 EST hopefully we will get arrived scans a little after that and yeah I'm just gonna assume Monday it is

There is a UPS flight from Louisville to St. Louis (my location) at 4:22 AM. Any reason to think that if it makes that flight it wouldn't get out for delivery tomorrow?

Yes, phones can ship from Ontario... but typically not this close to a new model release...

Is 6 days an awful long time for PFS? I've been stuck in that loop since early Saturday (9/17)! I know most people have said 24-72 hours, but this is now 144 hours! WHAT GIVES?!

I'm in the exact same boat too. The pending charge disappeared on Wednesday, so I guess it'll officially go through when the phone ships

So it looks like the flight will leave there around 3:22 local time from Alaska, and get to Louisville around 1AM local time. i doubt they will ship Saturday.

Seems like they may have held up things a little due to all the shipping issues. Possibly letting UPS get their issues worked out before continuing to slam them with pallets of phones?

For us:
Incheon, Korea, Republic of 09/24/2016 2:25 A.M. Departure Scan

I don't think we'll see deliveries until Monday, especially if you're an east coaster. There's simply not enough time for it to go through all those hubs and still end up on a truck before 7 AM.

I wonder if my iPhone is on UPS6099 or UPS99A? My iPhone's latest update from UPS was a 2:25 AM departure scan from Incheon, Korea, Republic
