I just googled "UPS Customer Center" plus your city. it listed contact info and hours right there on the google results page

Perhaps they're sending you a MacBook Pro as a consolation for waiting. 
I really hope from Anchorage my phone changes planes and goes to Ontario for west coasters as I see two ups flights coming out of there today. Would make sense as to why I'm in the later departure scans (maybe added on the plane last in order to be easily moved when it arrives in Anchorage). Here's to hoping lol!

Also, if you go to Change Delivery on your UPS tracking page and click it then double click Pickup my package at a UPS location, it will provide you UPS locations near you.
Simple. iPhones do not weigh 9 pounds. They are at most 1.5 pounds, if that, shipping weight. Also, the phones are coming from China. Shipments do not originate from "Ontario, CA".
Now, a question for you: what else might you have purchased from Apple?

Mine also shipped from Ontario, CA. I agree we're in the vast minority, but I can assure you, the iPhone 7 is the only thing I ordered from Apple.
I will say mine has a shipping weight of .6 lbs, but it still originated out of Ontario.
You're more than likely right and i am just lazy and didn't bother clicking anything.
I realize they do not weigh that much as I have pre-order previous iphone, hence why I asked. I have not ordered anything else from Apple and that is the tracking number they gave me specifically for my phone.....
Only reason I didn't list that is because Apple already put up a disclaimer about the scuffing/scratching issue. So unless they're holding back shipping the jet black phones is to further protect them, I wouldn't think it's a reason.
So....... UPS63 lands in about 31 minutes. Curious to see if we'll actually get delivery dates once the Arrival Scan happens!
The only reason I am holding onto a sliver of hope that it could deliver Saturday is that at this point there's no reason that the scheduled delivery information wouldn't be available. It obviously isn't going to get here today but Monday is an easy bet and I assume they would update it with that Monday date unless there was a chance it would deliver tomorrow.

AT least they are honest now, I asked if the CC near me is open on weekends However since I'm in the 2:25 Departure Scan group, ill be expecting it Monday:

Mine has been PFS since Saturday. I have already purchased a Matte Black, so Apple has this order set to re-route back to them as soon as the order ships...hopefully.
I'm glad I switched from JB. The whole 'finger print magnet' and 'micro' scratches would've bothered me to no end.

I hope this is true, even if not for my personal sake. Just waiting on that departure scan from Anchorage and then i'll hope for a delivery tomorrow.
