Roll call - Oct. 4th - Oct. 10th original ship date

Was on hold for over 30 minutes, spoke with Apple. Told him how incredibly unhappy I was with this whole ordeal. Asked point blank I’d like a free case for this mess, and mentioned this has been done for a few others. He said he had never heard of such a thing, I’m getting my phone “early” and nothing could be done. Asked him to verify with a manager which he did, said they can’t do anything like this. And that they don’t even do Saturday delivery (which we all know is exactly what’s happening today).

All that to say, anyone else who want’s to give this a shot good luck. I’m now more mad then I’ve been since this began last week.
 
By now it seems the guys at UPS are playing with my feelings. :(
But I now see the light! After some trouble my iPhone its supposed to get here on Tuesday.
I'm happy though; it's still coming earlier than the original October timeframe.

also I can't restore from icloud back up the server is having trouble. Have to connect to my mac after i do a back up.

Yeah I was having trouble just pulling up my iCloud storage earlier... guess ill do the same as you when i get mine

I'm so close to Menlo Park! Can't they squeeze my phone on the truck??
 
Ok, just got back from the Customer Center here at Austin, TX. According to them, all the iPhones that came in today are out for delivery even if I requested them to hold my package.

Did you originally have a 9/23 delivery date ? - congrats on your pending delivery !
 
Almost 1PM here, normal delivery time is about 5PM.. figured Saturday delivery would be earlier, but maybe not. I'm at work till 6PM anyways.. so....still waiting....So glad we all are getting our phones today though.:)

1 more thing. Did everyone get a free case from support? I told mine that I wanted the dock instead in black and she tried to tell me she couldn't, but I said I think Apple is being pretty inflexible, while I have been patient (with her not UPS). It's 2-3 weeks on back order

I got this dock for free by speaking to the Apple Store online manager. 2-3 weeks doesn't matter to me since it's not a necessity.
