Wow. Yeah. It's there. But damn if I can't barely hear it. Not steady but almost like the old records when you reach the end and it's just still turning. But faint.

I have Applecare. If it becomes worse I'll deal or when this shipping mess dies down for the rest.

Apple told me maybe today if not Monday...but they seems just as baffled as I was about the departure scan from salt lake... it's probably on a plane back to Hong Hong or somthing.
 
So how exactly do you reproduce the hiss? As of right now I can't seem to hear anything. i thought it was when taking a video.

I'm sort of stuck right now because I upgraded to the new public beta last night. Since I was on a slightly different build from the beta releases I knew the new phone would need to be upgraded before I could restore. Of course I go to download the profile so I can get them matched up and Apple has the Beta site down.

I'd bet you'll be getting yours today if you got the departure scan

I heard it on a recorded video. But only when I put my ear up to the camera. Every once in awhile I may hear it other wise but again ear to camera. But it's faint as hell. Not even sure it's a hiss.

Usually it will have a destination scan though not a departure scan... I'm on hold with UPS to see what they say.. does your delivery date still say 26th?

I'm in Bay Ridge, near Shore Road overlooking Bridge. I wouldn't leave. You don't want this spilling into next week. I feel so much calmer now that it's over. I was also without a cell phone since I sold my 6s Plus on EBay and had to ship it Wednesday. Refused to activate a 4s I had from a friend.

My hope is fading fast. Someone else from St. Louis said they got theirs but that was 4-5 hours ago.
 
This is getting old. Email confirmation xx:41. Surely this has to change by the end of day Monday to make it by the earliest date. Wouldn't you think?

Originally 10/4-10/10 but range changed when an Apple rep changed shipping method to expedite.

I've noticed if you close all the apps. Then record video. It's not that noticeable when recording video and playing it back.
My wife has a rose gold 7Plus and I can hear it with hers as well.

1 and 2 are true for me, and it last showed a departure scan from a city about 3 hours away by truck, so I don't know what'll actually happen.

I had same 1,2, and 3 plus I also had a destination scan from my local hub this morning before delivery. The phone showed up w/o ever going into out for delivery stage.

Any Oregon peeps get theirs yet? Mine is out for delivery, I've been in my living room waiting lol.

When did you get notified of it coming today? You're in Portland area, right? Mine still just has arrival scan at 7:45 AM at Tualatin hub...
 
My wife is getting seriously irritated lol. Tracking still shows it's in Wichita which is an hour away. UPS Store said it's "inbound". All these people getting theirs delivered is driving her nuts.
