Looks like they delivered mine today after all....I'm not there but someone signed for it?? Maybe the kid that is dog sitting for me?? Dunno, need to call him and find out what's up haha. Well, now my phone is sitting at home, however, I'm out of town for work. I'll be back Monday morning and finally get to play!! May need y'alls help tho, never had an iPhone lol.

Hilariously, half an hour after both UPS and Apple told me on phone today that my phone would definitely. it be delivered to by on Mon instead, I got a UPS update that it is now out for delivery. So fitting.
Put the back of the phone to your ear.
Record a video. Then play it back. You can hear it clear. It will stop for awhile. Then start back up.
Did they just update tracking for that? Still just have arrival scan here grrrr
Yeah, mine has the hiss as well. But I would have never noticed it had I not read about it here first. I don't record videos all that often....so it's a non-issue for me. Now if we start seeing reports that phones with the hissing issue failing because of heat or something like that...well then it'll become an issue for me. Good thing I have AppleCare+ for this phone.
Got an email at 11:15 that the delivery date changed to today!!!! Thank God!
I didn't notice it until I read some threads prior but I do record my children. So that will suck.
Grrrr....Apple Watch needs to hurry up and finish syncing with my new phone. I want to play with it, dammit! lol
Just to clarify for everyone....I was NOT in the 801 group, Was after those guys and still had my phone delivered today.
Have you still not gotten a shipping update yet? Most of us here had the still 10/4-10/10 date originally
Havent heard any hissing from my 7+ but im not trying to listen because I know it will bother the crap out of me if I hear it. First impressions: this phone is soooo fast; Touch ID is so quick, blink and you'll miss the phone unlocking. The home button is also a nice, welcome change.
Mine went through Salt Lake City as well, where are you located? I never even got the departure scan. Is your hub in West Valley or Odgen?Anyone else in salt lake getting this? I don't understand why it arrived in salt lake and then departed again and now the date is unknown.
It went from arrival scan 6:35am to stuck on mechanical failure at 6:55am. No updates until 11:02am when it was ready for pick up.
I'm down town... I think it usually goes through the WVC hub though... did you get yours today?

Nope. I'm in Kaysville, so it heads to the Ogden hub first. Never departed SLC. UPS and Apple both told me I wouldn't be getting it till Monday and I had no chance for a Saturday delivery
Mine is coming today!! Now the question is when will it come?! Are Sat deliveries all day or typically early? It's nearing noon here on the west coast. My sister is getting pissed having to wait for it
