It's finally on the truck for delivery today... I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to keep the JB OR exchange it for the black... it sounds like JB scratches way easy and just looks dirty all the time. :/ so I don't know. I hate to return it after every I've been through with UPS though.
I hadn't noticed it on my black 7+ but maybe I don't know what to listen for...if it's that faint, I don't hear it.
I think I may be the last 801er to get their phone. I got a UPS notification yesterday saying delivery today. No updates until this morning showing on truck and out for delivery. I'm just hoping someone is home to sign for it.
It's a faint hiss. If your phone is running multiple apps that would make your processor work harder. Then that is when I hear it on my wife and I new iPhones. I first heard it when I was setting up from iTunes. I wouldn't of notice it. If I didn't read about it first.
Start recording a video then put your ear under the camera, you should be able to head a buzzing sound, much like a hard drive spinning
I think we are about to see some changes. I checked my order and they tried to charge me but had an issue. I just got off the phone with Apple. Got my cc info corrected. Still says Processing but my dates have changed to 9/29-10/5 on both phones that I ordered. I expect to see preparing for shipment soon.

Does anyone else have a package shipped on Saturday that has not left ZhengZhou? My UPS estimated delivery was tomorrow, but all I have seen is two location scans in ZhengZhou and no activity at all otherwise?

Same here! Plus I just got the UPS email that says my package will be here tomorrow. I doubt it, unless teleportation is real now.
I talked to UPS because I was bored. The rep said it hadn't left China, but I'm not sure how much he knew because most responses were copied and pasted canned statements. I hope it comes tomorrow and at the very least we don't have as bad an experience as our predecessors trying to track it...
Here is me. No movement for the entire weekend and now out for delivery.
Just hope it shows up later this afternoon.... maybe I should take a half day?

Fillanly got mine!!! And I was able to get the lightning earbuds to fit in an old case... no longer comes with one.
