Woke up to Preparing For Shipment, and CC charged. I'll take it after 8 days of nothing!

(Of course, no tracking number, nothing in the support profile)

Confirmation email 12:12am PST, 10/4-10/10 group
Ordered on Apple app, for AT&T, 128gb JB 7+

It's maddening cause Apple claims they process in order. The opposite has been proven time and time again.

The thing is, with five different colors, four different provider configurations (US) and three different storage configurations, the "order" is going to be what's next available for each configuration, not simply, "Well, Mona was in front of Louis so she gets her Jet Black 128GB AT&T first no matter that it hasn't actually been built yet and we have Louis' rose gold 32GB Sprint sitting right here on the shelf, he just has to wait."

Update:

Just finished chatting with Apple Store support, and she was able to get the authorization through on my credit card. While on the chat, within five minutes, my order updated to Preparing for Shipment at last. I'm so relieved after a stressful night. Just FYI, the ETA is still Oct 4-10, but the "action required" email I mentioned above said specifically: "We are ready to ship your order but your card provider has declined payment for the credit/debit card you provided."

I hope to see activity on Support Profile and UPS soon!
I noticed that verbiage too! Lol

Exactly. They also have a billion servers handling orders.

I signed up for the Apple Upgrade Program. My CC was charged $124.74, but the charges seemed temporary as it never cleared and disappeared. I guess I'll be charged again, this time for real when it gets ready to ship.

Woke up to a charged credit card from apple :D

Current "Preparing to ship" but same arrival date, 4-10.

No iPhone 7 Plus in my support profile yet. Nothing on UPS MyChoice yet. Unable to track by reference with order number or phone number.

Tried Fedex as well, nothing on their version of mychoice. Nothing yet when tracking by reference with order number, or phone number.

I'm not quite sure how those who pre-ordered at xx:30 AM are seeing movement while my xx:10 AM order is still at Processing... perhaps because I got a JB? :\
I'm not sure, perhaps it has to do with carrier? I ordered a JB+128GB T-mobile and got a confirmation email at 12:06Am pst and my order went pfs last night.

Hang in there your time is coming.

*sigh*, I guess I'll have to run out to starbucks and get a PSL....then to Bestbuy for some retail therapy. Apple is going to force me into buying that Sony 75" 850d I've been trying to stay away from, so I have something to play with in the meantime.

128GB Matte Black AT&T, ordered at 12:11 AM PST, Oct.4-10 window, moved to Preparing for Shipment overnight. CC charged. Nothing in Support Profile or UPS.

Nothing yet, even chatted with apple chat to make sure no card issues. Even the case that was sent, i don't see any existing/pending charge.. Either. Sigh..

No movement on my 10/5-10/11 order. I'm sure I will be one of the last of this batch or the first of the next. Turned on purchase alerts on my card for when that magical moment happens

Best Buy broke my heart yesterday. They turned me away at 7:40 claiming no 7+ stock. At 11:39, when I was king gone, a 128GB matte black showed up and I missed it. :(
