Mine went from Preparing for Shipment back to Processing. Originally had a Oct 3-7 date but now it's Oct 4-10.
I finally have some good news! I just reserved an iPhone 7+ 256gb Matte Black for pickup at an Apple Store two hours away from me lol. It's not the color I originally ordered (Gold), but I actually think the black looks sleeker. I am also desperate. I may be cancelling my preorder!
I was wrong before, my card was charged back on Saturday. I was looking at the wrong account lol. Still no shipped email yet though.
I was able to make a reservation and purchase the new phone before getting ahold of apple support to cancel my pre-order. However I had no issue canceling the pre order because I was only in "Prepcessing" still.

Sunday afternoon I found a local Apple Store that had a 128gb 7+ in black available and was able to reserve it! Just got home with the phone an LOVE IT! Such an upgrade from my 6!
Hopefully you all move to PFS soon!
No issue making a reservation even though I had my pre order in "Processing" mode. I just called to cancel the order when I made it to the Apple Store and had my new phone in a box in front of me! The apple employee had no issue waiting for me to call in and cancel my previous order! (I recommend using the online chat instead of calling, that made it through faster yesterday for me. I had a phone calling in and we used an in store computer to connect to the chat.)
I know they say to check back at 12:01am for the reservations, but I found mine around 11:05am CDT. So just keep checking throughout the day and you just might get lucky!! ☺️
I should say I am still constantly checking the reservations to see if the Apple store like 5 mins from my job will get any 7+ this morning. I wanted to hold the one at the other store two hours away just in case they don't because that one JUST popped up so I quickly reserved for it before it disappeared.
Doubt I could do it anyway since I've been in PFS for 2+days, but just checked every NYC store. No iPhone 7 Plus models in any store except a few in 32GB in Silver or Gold and in 1 store, a 128GB Silver was available. Could have reserved one yesterday, but since I didn't know if I could cancel or not I just waited. Now it looks like we all wait for shipping email. Hopefully this morning or today some time.
How are you guys reserving your phone while you still have an order in? We don't have to cancel it first do we? Mine says I have an order so I cannot reserve it? I don't wan to cancel until I know for sure I have one reserved?
I was paying the full amount for my iPhone and I wasn't doing it through any carrier upgrade program or IUP when I ordered it. I think this is why I was able to reserve for an in store pick up through the IUP this morning.

7+ Matte Black 128GB VZ ordered on the 9th . Went to PFD yesterday . Hopeing gets shipped sometime to day.

I've been lurking on the boards for some time now. I preordered a 7+ 128 GB AT&T from Apple.com on 9/9. My stupid alarm didn't go off, so I didn't get my preorder in until 6:30 AM CST. Got a 10/4-10/10 delivery date. No movement at all. No charges. Still processing.
Captain's log, day 10: still. no movement on processing. I'll. most likely. never get the phone.
Just got off of chat who told me that the Oct 4th to Oct 10th dates are accurate. Not saying they are just saying I wouldn't trust anything these reps tell you one way or the other. I've been in PFS for 48 hours or so. No other movement. Sucks that I could have walked into an Apple Store and had my phone yesterday if they would let me cancel my PFS. Now no phones around anymore.
I'm still in processing. I still have hope I'll get it sooner but slowly giving in to the dark side that I'll get it when they say.
