Roll call - Oct. 4th - Oct. 10th original ship date

Still processing as of 12:10pm PST. I spoke with an Apple Specialist and he told me I was lucky to have that estimated shipping dates I had. Went on to tell me most of the people hes spoken with including himself have shipping dates of November. He did however tell me that if I used the Apple Store app on my iOS device that I will most likely receive it before those dates. Looks like there is a difference between using the app and using the website.

check your local apple store if they have any in stock the same config which you pre-order reserve and pick up locally. Good Luck :)

I really don't get that he eluded to people calling about shipping dates, this seems to clog phone lines for something they have little to no power over.

I ordered on the website and I have a delivery date of this Wednesday (originally Oct 4 - 10). However, I will say that I did notice that the app store came online before the website did -- at least a good 5 minutes before. So he might be referring to that?
 
Apple rep said it was too late to correct my address so i guess they're just going to hold it at some UPS center. I wasn't super worried about it before but now I have little hope that i'll have this in my hands before the weekend given that i'm still PFS as it is :(
 
So my phone shipped this morning, and I can track it via UPS. I'm a My Choice premium member. Is there a reason I'm not able to schedule a two hour window?

I just called the normal Apple number (1-800-MYAPPLE, right? It's stored in my phone so I never know the actual number) and spoke to a Apple Rep. and complained and then she elevated my case and I spoke to her supervisor and they told me they could not do anything but I just find it odd that the next business day I get a shipped email. It probably was not anything they did since a lot of people are seeing movement on their orders today.

I was hoping they would give me a free case but they would not budge on anything. Oh well, I will gladly take a shipped phone and getting it Wednesday over a free case!

I guess ill finally chime in and after days and lets say a weeks worth of lingering on this thread im sad to say im still in Processing mode =/ I hope like most of you I will get some type of update by tomorrow .. and like some this is my first time I do not get my iPhone on or with in 3 days of launch day :(

Hopefully you go to PFS status soon. I would love insight on how they move the phones from preorder state to shipped, what configurations, what gets priority, etc.

It feels unfair that I only ordered this past Saturday and mine is coming in Thursday - maybe rose gold 7+ 256 wasn't as in high demand like the matte black 128's were. Fingers crossed for all you JB and matte black 7+ people out there. :)

My order didn't go through until 3:15 PST. Same phone but on Verizon. So you should be any time! Hopefully in the next wave! What delivery dates were you quoted? (Mine was originally Oct 4-10, now will be arriving on the 22nd.)
 
Ordered my phone (black 7 Plus 128 GB unlocked) from the Apple website on Wednesday Sept 14. Was given an Oct 7-13 delivery window.

Sometime today, it changed to preparing for shipment.

still processing... i never wanted someone to take my money so bad.. also its crazy how people that ordered hours after me is getting their phone shipped.. what was the point of me staying up so late ? :(

I chatted online with him. Anyway, I added in the issue with my phone still being in processing but I had originally asked for help because I wanted to know if there was an issue with my case being shipped as it says it should be delivered within the next two days yet it was still processing.
 
Just to add an additional data point...

- iPhone 7+, black, 128 GB, ATT
- Ordered as soon as the Apple Store app would load the preorders for me (around 00:10)
- 00:16 order confirmation
- Preparing for Shipment as of 2 am CST on 9/17/16
- Credit card charge as of 9/17/16
- Still waiting to ship. :)

I should have had you track my car I ordered haha. I pre-ordered it back in early November and finally got it this summer. In the mean time I was constantly checking order numbers for a VIN, then when I got the VIN I was checking it against the manifests of shipping vessels to see what boat it was on, then using boat trackers to track it's progress across the ocean, then used some of Ford's tools to track it at port and to see the status before it got to the dealer.
