Only that that’s all just noise and an opinion. The departure of Macs is set and Apple will pull some nice performance figures out of their hats when the first Macs with Apple silicone launch.

It's dropping though, which means it's not a 'complete victory' as you claimed. As others have stated, x86 performance isn't that gigantic performance. x86 is going to become a thing of the past, as things move on to other, better ways.
Facts on the face x86 architecture (Intel, AMD), put RISC architecture (ARM ect) on its knees !!! It was in 80-90 years x86 that architecture was inferior to RISC architecture !!! 80-90 years the bottleneck in performance was also the system and processor buses !!!

Still too early to conclude, since no released actual Apple Silicon based Macs on wild, except for a dev kit.

While I admit x86 versatility, current Intel chips are quite stagnant. AMD is different story, but they not in MacOS space. I think Apple can compete with CPU speed, what I worry is more towards graphics performance to scale with current workstation GPU.

Since Apples Mac chips don’t exist yet you have no point to make. You have on fact been trolling this discussion with nothing but childish claims as the quoted one.

There is nothing to admit. There is nothing to measure. The conversation was over before you even began posting this stuff.
 
Yeah that was another waste of our time.

To give people an idea of how absurd it is to bring the Cortex A8: the iPhone 4 had a Cortex A8-derived processor, the Apple A4.

The slowest iPhone in the Geekbench 5 chart is the iPhone 5s, scoring 259. In Geekbench 3, it scores 1,414, compared to an iPhone 4, which scores 206. So, already, the 5s is 6.9 times as fast as the 4 (given that the 4 was single-core, the difference is even starker once you get into multiple cores). But the iPhone 11 scores 1,324 in Geekbench 5, which is 5.1 times as much as the 5s.

Now, those two benchmarks aren't quite the same. But still, roughly speaking, a 2019 iPhone 11 is about 35 times as fast as an iPhone 4. Or, to put it more simply: last year's Apple A13 chip is 35 times as fast as the Cortex A8 brought up above. And this year's Apple A14 is coming in just a few weeks!
 
In the meantime I've had an Orange Pi and a Jetson Nano in operation for a few years now and not unsurprisingly almost everything works. So I think there is very little to worry about when it comes to Apple Silicon, macOS and Homebrew. That supposed x86 advantage will disappear when most software starts being developed on ARM first, leaving only Windows targetting x86 as a first-class citizen.

But I think a large part of developers and users simply won't care anymore, as they just want the applications they use to work.

Xcode still doesn’t syntax highlight COBOL competently. At this rate, the Mac will never succeed.
And the lack of native Fortran support in Xcode really stands out. But Apple really lost it way back when they stopped including a BASIC interpreter. Commodore and Radio Shack will eat their lunch. Their only hope will be if they replace that Swift Playground with one for Logo and Woz’s Integer BASIC.
