Rosetta May Be Removed From M1 Macs in Some Regions on macOS 11.3

Rosetta 2 is alive and kicking

Are you on macOS 11.3.1?

If you are actually experiencing this error message, this is a bug. It’s been reported before. You can find instructions how to resolve it online. The disabling of Rosetta 2 in specific regions has not actually happened anywhere and may not. macOS contains many such codes which are never used. If macOS was really going to get rid of Rosetta 2 there would be a big announcement and it won’t happen for quite a long time.

Wouldn't this just light a fire under developers asses and force them to hurry up with M1 compatible Macs (which, they've had plenty of time to prep already?)

I see it as kind of a win.

Not if intel is paying those developers!

If Apple does do this, people must be able to return their unit for a full refund, with absolutely no hassle, no matter when they bought it.

Looks the “Rosetta is not currently available in your region” error has been present in Big Sur since December, i.e it’s not new and nothing to worry about.

About the time the intel feud fired up
