Where in the EULA did I give Apple, permission to delete the YouTube app from my iPhone when I upgraded to iOS 6? How DARE they!!! Then when I go to download and install the YouTube app my phone ends up burning through a full battery overnight in a VAIN effort to download and install YouTube. Are you kidding? I am going to file a formal complaint with the NYS Attorney General and the FCC. Absolutely shameful.

09/25 Either Apple finally approved the YouTube app or my slew of emails hit their mark because an hour after I posted this I could finally install the YouTube app. It required entering my password which is strange because since iOS 6 debuted I have not been asked for my Apple ID PW in the App Store for new app installs or updates on my iPhone 4S. None of this makes sense as an app that is in the App Store, as was the case with YouTube, should be available as it has been "approved" by Apple. Why else would it be in the App Store and not truly available? Simply to goose Google? Screw with End Users? All of the above? Apple is putting the "dis" in dysfunctional these days.

Good luck with that.

iOS asks for password on all new apps, no password for free updates. So asking on YT install is proper behaviour. Not sure what you mean by "should be available", it IS approved and available on the app store.

lol

The YouTube app was approved before 9/25. The password isn't required for updates but it is for new installs. Read release notes and you would have known they removed YouTube. That has been common knowledge for months now.

Sorry if I sounded rude but I took your post as it saying that nobody uses Maps anyway.

About your question, I expect a map to be at the very least accurate, and so far Apple Maps have been beyond appalling.

Shibuya station handles roughly 2.5 million passengers on an average weekday. If it wasn't enough that most of the info about its surroundings have disappeared or are completely wrong, the station itself is nowhere to be seen on Apple Maps. It maybe not obvious but the picture below shows the exact same location on Google Maps (mobile version) and the new Apple Maps:

Satellite imagery as its finest:

The search function can't even locate Narita airport, the ninth-busiest air freight hub in the world.

A couple more example here: http://www.japanmobiletech.com/2012/09/ios-6-maps-fail-in-japan.html

ok well you just reposted info that you got from other websites. you sounded like you were personally affected by the change. i guess you were just making **** up because its cool to hate the new maps.
