Stunning argument. My argument would be that the extra vertical viewing space of a 16:10 screen is superior to 16:9 screens and all my 300 wallpapers are in 16:10 format.

And a 25" 4:3 1920x1440 screen would be even better than any current screen below 30".

Why only one iMac configuration?

APPLE HAVE DISCONTINUED THE 24'' iMAC!!!!!!

Relax. It's obviously not a full list. Apple likes to "leak" these things to drum up interest and cause all of us fanboys stop working.

Seriously, does Hollywood or any other industry dominated by Apple fanboys get any work done on days like these?

Does anyone else look at the fact that Apple can't update a few items on a store without shutting the entire thing and find it hard to take them seriously for business computing as a result?

I don't know anyone or anywhere else that shuts an entire online store - just to swop a few items around.

I sure hope someone didn’t forget to turn the store back on after the update. :D This is the longest store update in recent memory.

yep. you mustve missed my follow up. i'm tapping my toes too!!!!
now he's saying 11:30. he can't explain why the delay.

whats irritating is i'm about to walk out to go to lunch. so ill miss it when it does come back online. it'll have to wait until i get back!!!

9to5 is now "restarting", after posting an article with a bunch of updates. Did someone draft a story for if the rumors were true, then accidentally click "Submit"? ;P

It is a marketing and cultural thing. It has zero to do with technology.

It's called "Think Different."
