This is a long shot but I'm really hoping the 2.53 MBP becomes the new $1199 MBP model given the fact that the Macbooks are getting a price cut/spec boost.

I doubt that's the case, but it's a nice thought.

We have no idea what will happen.... Some say the macbooks are getting a redesign which doesn't necessarily mean a price drop...
