Hi Guys,

I’m a PC user switching over to Apple. Today I wanted to check out something before buying an iMac and my dealer said WAIT! Then I came on here to check out things and it’s like the whole world’s melting down! We never had anything this exciting over in PC – Windows Land! I’m loving it and I don’t even have my first Mac yet!
:D I'm off to do some jogging, when I get back the store will surely be up ...? Here's hoping everyone gets what they want!

i was reading this from the other thread:

I was curious about thoes SIM DUALBAND thing, I am wondering if they have done a deal with At&t to put wireless broadband in them.

That actually happened last week after being down for two hours.

Oh it must be fun being an Apple web admin. I mean take the site down for a bit for maintenance, watch the speculation fly and forums run a-muck, have a few good laughs. Apple gets to see what people want (by what they are speculating and hoping for) then take the site back online. Free entertainment, and free marketing research.

Apple probably crashed with all of us doing that auto refresh page thing. Like a denial of service attack!! That would be hilarious.

So if you think about it. The store was down for a few hours on Friday and a few hours today.. That's a lot of down time for the store in the past few business days.

Not likely they will release iLife 10 now. It used to be released in January, but in that case it would haveto be called iLife 11.

Some software updates would be nice for the holidays like new version of Aperture, but not bloody likely.

no chance in hell. That just means it broadcasts at 5GHz and 2.4GHz at the same time.

First rule: You have to leave that font on your PC...

I love the idea of a quad core imac, and I will surely buy one BUT...

not till after the holidays because I have to buy the family and the girl nice christmas presents....

Maybe they have some new videos for Product Tours and the new Mac ads uploading???????????

"Sorry for the store being down, we appear to have been the victim of a DoS attack."

Too many people pressing F5

I don't know if you guys have heard yet but the Apple Store is down. ;)

Seriously, my first gen core duo iMac is getting a bit long in the tooth. Might have to upgrade if the new iMacs materialize.

Can someone shed some insight on the capability of the 4670 versus GT130/4850?

I googled it and found a review on a german board for last year's introduction of the 4670. The conclusion said it's more in the ballpark of a 3850 than of a 4850...

Read somewhere it stands for simultaneous dualband. Would be amazing if they did though.
