Theres probably 84 keys on the new keyboard...hence K84, with the Best version having the numpad.

Not that I don't believe you, but we are all excited for it and you give a tiny bit of information, then no more, it makes people annoyed that you could possible know all about it but can't post. But that's good in a way, makes it a surprise and we can see it for ourselves on Apple's website. Do you know anything about the new mice and keyboards?

Yeah, sorry. I'm telling you info as I get it, and I probably shouldn't be telling you anything at all.

Not yet.

Stuff says no Apple announcements as Apple Stores go offline across Asia.

In a move destined to create much gnawing and gnashing of teeth among company watchers, Apple today allegedly denied it intends introducing any new products later on.
An Apple source has poured cold water on the hubbub of expectation, denying the company plans any announcement “today or tomorrow”.
Stuff reports: “We've been in contact with Apple to see if there was any comment to the rumoured announcement. We were first told we "hadn't missed any Apple announcements", and when pressed on if there was any news on events today or tomorrow, we got the simple reply: "Nope".”
Clutching at straws, we’d like to point out that not every Apple product upgrade actually makes it all the way to “announcement” status, some just quietly slip into being on the Apple Store, but these tend to be slight model upgrades rather than the whizz-bang credit-card attention-seeking new product salvos we’ve learned to love.
We’ll wait and see if there’s any change in the situation, but as of 11.57am UK time, the Apple Store remains open for business and there’s no news there.

The rumor from appleinsider.com says iMac 21.5"/3.06/2X2GB/1TB. Does 3.06 mean core2duo not i7? If so, I'll be very dissapointed. :(

If those numbers are real, which I seriously doubt, the it would make sense for Apple to offer a bigger smallest iMac, and if it can get a 3.06 Ghz C2D, then the bigger model, perhaps also bigger (26",28",30"), will most certainly have a faster CPU.
This is after all a good sign.

Windows 7 has been getting coverage for almost a year and everybody already knows all about it or has already used it.

It's a non-event.

I disagree. Windows 7 although it's been known for awhile is a big deal. It's a very good OS and many people that skipped Vista or even have Vista will be upgrading. That's a lot of people.

When the store is down is when they prep the sales people on the new stuff. The longer it's down the more stuff comes out.

The 1.73 core i7 mobile tops out at exactly 3.06, Apple may be marketing the higher number...
