I think someone just got fired at Apple...Probably the guy fell asleep who had the job of pressing "Update" for their website.

Looks like they updated the store to run on SL, but they had a guest account!

This is taking a very long time. This is one area apple is not leading the industry :p

And the the time rolls on... When will it stop? Reminds me of Willy Wonka. There's no way to tell which way we're going. Or which way the wind is blowing.

Apple needs to learn the definition of the word "soon"....

being "back soon" doesn't mean 3 hours, an 8th of a day....

I'm considering going downstairs to have a look at everything. But then that wouldn't tell me new specs.

Wow

9to5mac just posted the news:

After a harrowing Apple Store outage today, Apple today updated a great deal of its consumer line of products.

As anticipated by many, the iMac line got updated with a new low cost 21.5 inch HD model. Utilizing a new 1920x1080 16:9 aspect ratio screen, the new iMac replaces the previous 20 inch models.

Mac Minis got a mild refresh updating processor speeds mildly while getting a new 1TB version.

BOOM

They are just regurgitating the (partial) part number posting from Apple Insider. 9to5 knows nothing.

I'm going for the spoiler there taking so long because there is a new section of the store thy need to open up the Tablet section.
