does anyone have insight into whether they do a deal with a printer when they release an update?

HP has a rebate if you buy a new printer on the same day as a new laptop or desktop. I always get a new printer when I upgrade my laptop for that reason. Last time I used it I got back $70.

LED? although we dont know if the Plastics do or don't have upgraded screens and touchpads either til update =) wait and see
LED should be standard now.
Light up keys however is a must for me.
And the lightup keyboards. These two reasons are why I bought a MBP.
Yeah I totally agree. Before I took it back, that is why I bought the faster MBP (when it was a 13" Alu MB) and returned it to for the **** screen.
I would love to see matte screen options on all the higher level products as well as black anodized aluminum finishes on the pro products, probably not going to happen though.
I think matte is plausible.
And the fantastic battery:)

Yes but you never know what is in the "new" MB.

Anyone else getting nervous about the lack of mentions of a 24" iMac update? I'm pretty set on a 24" model and I'm going to be extremely disappointed if the only update is 21.5"...

OK, I give up... gotta split.

That's a sign for you guys to stay extra alert because they always posted the goodies exactly when I gave up and left.

I think you left six minutes too early. Or one hour six minutes too early. I don't know yet.

Well, they do have to test the site, extensively and if they find problems they have to fix them before they can publish it live.

It could be a few new products but they just hit a glitch with the update.

Come on. It is not like they are coding the site while its down. They have a test environment working 100% before they take anything down. I would think it was just a matter of putting the test environment into play by copying a few files.

I am wearing my command R button out refreshing the store so much.....Seriously Apple, i am going to begin to go crazy soon....
