Can someone tell me how to default my GPS program to automatically run? The program is called "GPS Tracker", and it's from iTunes.
I read on the "How To" portion of Backgrounder that you have to make a preference file. Can someone do that for me, or tell me how I do it?
Can someone create the file for me??

Just hold the "Home" button while the application is open. A message will pop up saying it's activated. Keep in mind though, this is pretty much unusable because of the amount of battery life it drains up.
How do I stay online on AIM and be able to get messages?
it says that I'm still online, but I can't receive message notifications
What a monstrosity. You've turned your iPhone from a thing of beauty into... that. Congratulations.
Why would running pandora in the background using this app eat up any more battery life than playing audio with the ipod app? I guess it is streaming 3g data, so that's an aded drain, but is it really that bad? I just installed this app tonight, and am loving it, but haven't used it enough to see how it's going to treat my battery yet.
Life is good! Why?
I'm surfing with Netshare and listening to my iPhone with AOL Radio at the same time. Background option does this for me. Thanks to Pwnage team and Cydia. You guys are awesome!!!![]()

I just searched for Pandora and it works.
Not for me, maybe it's because I'm in Canada?

Only problem I've seen so far using this with Beejive is that it doesnt keep a connection for long. It drops the data connection after a good few minutes of activity meaning that you dont get notified of any new messages.
I've also noticed that after prolonged inactivity, the application closes and I have to re-start the application then re-enable backgrounder.
Anyone else getting this?
The OS might be capable, but the hardware limitations (single CPU, limited memory, no swap drive) could easily lead to bad user experiences.
.
I haven't noticed this yet. What do you consider prolonger inactivity?
One thing I noticed is that after using Backgrounder a few of my applications now have badge icons displaying 0 even if I am not running them in the background. For example, iProcrastinate, Facebook, and Beejive all display badge icons.
Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)
This almost makes me want to jailbreak my iPhone. I don't really have a reason other than that to do it though.
