Hey,

Does anyone know how long the S10's battery (non-cellular) would last when navigating on a bicycle using a .gpx file? Ideally the screen would be on the whole time, but tapping it to wake would be fine too.

I've never owned an Apple Watch so I don't even know which app I should use to do this so, I can't help with that.
Its pretty useless, especially on a roadbike with drop bars you wont be able to see it and its so tiny you will run into accidents.

Get a garmin/wahoo or other brand bike computer for navigation.

Yeah I use the app work outdoors and S10 46mm and get good 5-6 hours with map on full brightness when using a GPX mountain biking

My launch day Series 10 dropped to 97% battery health. How are your watches holding up?
Now at 96% after watchOS 26 Update. My moms S10 is at 99% and she uses it everyday like I do. We both try to not charge past 90% to reduce the wear on the battery, but I can't tell, why she has 3% more health on her battery.

My watch displays nearly every time the information that charging was on hold due to heat. Do you have this information on your watches as well?

I wouldn´t fret over single percent points, probably there is some imprecision in the measurements, too. My Series 7 is at 76% health and still holding a whole day with normal use. I just end the day at 10-20% instead of 20-30% as I used to.

My S10 ist at 92%, bought on launch day 2024. Used and charged daily since then. Not sure, if that's still ok?

My launch day series 10 is a 93% battery health, but it is pretty much on my wrist unless it is charging, so I guess that "Optimised charge limit" doesn't apply as my usage is to charge it then put it straight back on.

My Apple Watch 10 has started dying before I go to bed.
It’s only 6 months old, it’s a replacement after the first one got water damaged in April.
wondering if I’ll stop wearing it.. after years wearing it, it’s useful but I’m really tired of wearing the same thing.

Just curious. Is there a point at which battery heath Maximum Capacity is approaching EOL? Or (most likely) is it simply a case of each individual user's usage pattern? Maximum Capacity on my early AWU v1 is currently at 87%, on OS 11.6.1 and typically charged for one hour daily.

Cell version? My S10 it might be as low as 46% by the time I get home and I've had it about a year now..

I'm now at 89% battery health with my day after launch day Apple Watch. It's still totally fine though. If i'm not exercising i'm closer to 48% at the end of the day. I charge before bed and wear again. I run with it every other day (on cellular) and it is fine on those days too. So in my case it's doing it's job.

My AW10 is after a year 98%, I use it standalone extensively in the summer months to listenen to music via LTE while skateboarding, so i do not have to carry a phone around.

Beside that like my AW4 and Ultra1 in the past, its a device thats mostly on my wrist and half the times i forget to take it of the charger.

My last AW device for sure to be honest.

It`s a unnecessary gadget for me, i tried to make it work and use it as this grand motivator but honestly, i just rather, just go fitness hand have fun then recording all my training efforts because i am not part of the 5% athletes anyway that need to record all their stats.

After 6 years of being compeletely compelled by having a wristphone/computer.

To meh its the same **** for the past 6+ years.

Has been 13 months since I started using my Series 10. Battery life is now at 98% (has been like that for the past 6 months). Battery life continues to be excellent and can easily last almost 2 days for me on a single charge. Also very happy with the ultra fast charging.

I get well over 40 hours of regular use (screen always on) on my AW11. It’s new, I’ll see how it goes after a few months.
