For those upgrading from the S3 Ceramic, what are you doing with your S3?
I’m keeping my s2 ceramic around (bought it second hand) cos it’s just so pretty and I can’t bear to sell it. Didn’t manage to get the s3 haha

Ceramic coated steel is not immune from chipping. Not sure if the watch casing itself is ceramic dipped or machined ceramic? It would make sense for the strap popper to be though. Can someone with some knowledge of the material science figure out how in the world the ceramic pin got scratched like this? Pretty sure it happened while sitting snug in a tupperware with other bands, nowhere near its black DLC cousin (I don’t think). Definitely han’t worn it on my wrist for more than an hour.
Not exactly heartbroken because I don’t know how much I was gonna wear it, more just curious. Perhaps the ceramic is just very thin on the pin?

I still have my band from my S3 ceramic and it’s mint. I wear it several times a week. Perhaps it was just a production issue. I experienced what you felt when I got it on Thursday this week. I was on the same boat. I have been in love with it since the moment the first time I wore it 😍 and now, I am always looking forward to wear it whenever it is being charged.IT ARRIVED!!! Will post a pic soon, but omg it is gorrrrgeous! You will not be disappointed by this watch. Absolute perfection. I’m in love lol 😍
Yeah I feel like I’m always paying the price for having the early batches. Poor Apple Support, how in the world would they source a replacement anytime soon.I still have my band from my S3 ceramic and it’s mint. I wear it several times a week. For me, it looks sporty with dark color bands. People will notice you are wearing an Apple Watch right away since the white color makes the AW screen stand out and they will understand. The current AW shape is unique. However, everybody has different preference and I only can speak for myself. The white ceramic is fine for a man wearing sports clothing, but how would it look with a dark suit or jacket?
What do you think about this combination? Still thinking about getting one of the new black hermes leather bands with the black lugs (cause the SS doesn‘t look great at all).

It should.
the ceramic is a unique watch.
I like my S4 SBSS but the ceramic is that much more to me.
Treat yourself but beware you’ll end up buying more bands because the white makes it very easy and fun to match

If there was a TI in stock I would have snagged one yesterday.
I wish ceramic owners could purchase the Nike faces

I am 3 bands in and it hasn’t even arrived.
I understand your preference is. Everyone has a unique preference. For me, ceramic does fit on every occasion beside I only want to have 1 watch especially for a smart watch because I like to upgrade it every year. After all, a smart watch is a technological watch which keeps advancing. I plan to get another ceramic next year if it is offered again since next year, we expect major improvements in the watch in addition to the phone. (major upgrade year)I’ve been wearing the Ti to the office all week and for me it is the perfect office watch. I much prefer its look to the SS and it doesn’t scream “premium” unless you look at it close. I won’t wear my ceramic to the office for the same reason I don’t drive a luxury car, in my field I don’t want to give off the appearance of luxury.
The Apple Milanese is a lighter shade of black the the Amazon mock version.Still loving my ceramic... this is by far the most I’ve enjoyed an Apple product for aesthetic reasons. I’m trying to decide what band to get next. The only bands I have that kind of match are the white sport band it came with, the khaki sport loop, and a black sport band.
Can’t decide whether to get the SB Milanese loop or a leather loop (and if a leather loop, which color) next... or even another sport band...
Edit: Just ordered SB Milanese and Product Red sport band. My next purchase will be the Forest Green leather loop (eBay)... that should do me for awhile lol...
