I agree 100% DO NOT help this thief. If he wants help then have him post a picture of his drivers license WO numbers and a land line phone number and work number with a electric bill with his name on it....THEN I WILL HELP

To everyone else, thank you. But to these two posters. You should be banned. Here is the link to the story about what happened to my former colleague. http://www.waff.com/story/23855836/brewer-students-remember-teen-killed-in-wreck

I paid for developer access to ios7. She was the only person I let upgrade before its release. So, the release timed out as it was not the GM. She was locked out of her phone, brought it to apple, and it was linked to me from developer access. After the accident, the mother hacked her email, found me, and asked for my help. She tried every password under the sun until she got locked out. My biggest fear is that if I plug her phone into my computer that somehow it will try to "sync" and all pictures are lost. I bought iExplorer so I could spy on my stupid sister in law, because I bought her an iPhone. We have done nothing but try to help her get on her feet, and all she does is lie to us. My wife and I are about to have a baby, so would I want a liar babysitting my baby?

I worked in a cubicle directly across from her. Its crazy that she is gone. I am sad because her personality was unlike anyone I ever met. Add to that I lost my dad this year. And my cousin last year. Why the hell is all this happening to me?

Worst part of today was when the mom called me at work. And cried while thanking me for everything I have tried to do. And it breaks my heart.

Just because you post a link to a story doesn't mean anything. I can do the same thing and claimed to have known someone and been involved. If you were actually involved with this individual as you claim to have been, then I do in fact feel sorry about the situation. With that said, there are so many untrustworthy people in the world today, you can't blame us for being hesitant.

One more point of contention, you said you bought iExplorer to spy on your sister-in-law (regardless of your reasons for doing so). Thats a HUGE RED FLAG right there!

There is a rather complex procedure where you can dump the entire contents of the phone as a disk image and then use a forensics tool to search the image for certain file types.

I did this many years ago when I broke the screen on my 3G and couldn't afford to get it fixed but wanted the pictures.

You can find details here: http://modmyi.com/forums/file-mods/237321-how-iphone-data-recovery-13.html

It does work but it's not for the feint hearted and it requires patience and a lot of disk space.

Why don't people wear seat belts? After all the people seriously hurt or killed from not wearing one I can't believe people still don't do this. Maybe she had faith that she'd be saved from any harm??

Take the phone to the local law enforcement authorities. They have the necessary technology that the public doesn't really know about. If that fails, ask the NSA.

Apple will be of no help. I pray my parents can't get the pictures off my phone if I were to pass away...

Sorry about your loss btw...

I understand BOTH sides of the "it's a scam" and "I'm mad because you think this is a scam...".

You have to understand how easy it would be to google "sad car wreck" and then link it claiming it was your friend/colleague. The article proves nothing. Frankly, if you are sick/creative enough, there is NOTHING that you couldn't fake since we don't know you personally.

It COULD be true. It could also be completely fake. Sadly the odds are that it is, and that's just the frank reality of the internet when it comes to needing things bypassed like passwords/security. It is what it is.

I completely get how upsetting it would be. I would be devastated. However I would also understand the raised eyebrows and accusations if I took to an internet forum asking for help to bypass security.

That being said, Apple is the only hope. If the mother can get a case opened, provide death certificate, verify parental status, etc., Apple happens to be a company that would probably help IF you got to the right person (i.e. have her CALL, not walk in and try a genius).

Good luck, but also bad luck (if it's a scam). I don't know. Either way, I'm glad to see the security is working, even if it's not a happy ending in this case. Security isn't supposed to be filled with loopholes for sad situations. It's designed to keep people OUT. It's sad, sure, but again, it is what it is.

I can't believe you posted this. You need help.

. I bought iExplorer so I could spy on my stupid sister in law, because I bought her an iPhone.

Aaaaaannnd now I'm not gonna help. I can't believe you're spying on people.

We have done nothing but try to help her get on her feet, and all she does is lie to us. My wife and I are about to have a baby, so would I want a liar babysitting my baby?

If you know that she's a liar, then why do you need to spy on her? Just don't have her babysit your baby.

I really don't like people like you

Honestly me too. I don't care what you believe but spying on someone is too much.
