I'm still using my super old 2015 MacBook Pro - running macOS Monterey (ver 12.7.6).

For years Safari would and has intermittently froze. Often I must completely close and restart Safari. It has really got super bad in 2026. I am at the point of considering switching to another browser (Chrome or Firefox). Safari has become unusable.

Given how old my system is - I'm guessing there's nothing I can do to fix this. True?

I have the same machine and haven't run into that. Does it happen with specific sites, or everywhere?
