It does, but it doesn't block things like embedded flash videos from sites.

Embedded videos are usually OK since you have to click on them to get them to play, it's the ads that are annoying.
Too bad glimmerblocker isn't included on the safari extensions page, although from what i read it doesn't work that way.

If GlimmerBlocker was a Safari extension it would slow things down considerably like all of the other adblock extensions for Safari. GlimmerBlocker is a system wide local-proxy filter that works with every browser.

I think I'll give it a try. I'll uninstall adblocker and download glimmerblocker and see if i notice a difference. Thanks for the idea.
 
Meh, i've been using webkit nightly builds since 08 and I am not sure why people should do otherwise. Webkit builds are awesomesauce
 
Is it only me or do some of you get crashes from Flash? I had to install "Click to Flash" as Flash would crash my browser occasionally.

click to flash works great for me on both safari and firefox
but safari is slow with beach balls

I am not sure if this is a safari issue or its the plug in issue
its not affecting firefox at all
