Safari Duplicate Tab No Longer Works?

Am I the only one who noticed the ability to press and hold a tab in Safari and drag it to the + symbol in the lower left hand corner to duplicate the tab no longer works as of ios 17?

It works in landscape orientation, just not portrait. Maybe it's something to be fixed with an update.
