It has nothing to do with web designing, you can mouse over a link and see where it's going before you click it.

Thanks for that.

With all that has been said, I just like Safari in the way it looks and feels. Both it and my wife are snappy.

dang lots of you guys postin ur opinions on this. I still dunno bout FF though. I tried it after readin some of your guys replies but i dont see it as close to safari or even camino.

just try to use each one of them exclusively for one day, after couple of days, make a pick, and that would be it.

Nobody's experience can replace your own.

I use Safari and have Inquisitor, Safari ADBlock and SafariTabs installed.
Funny, that's my exact setup as well.

It's nice to know Camino can start up faster by ~2 s, but I keep Safari open days at a time (didn't notice any memory problems in 3.1) and just can't bring myself to care about Camino these days any more. Just not an issue for me.

safari doesnt even have a home button for gods sakes
That's where SafariTabs comes in: "Newly created tabs should load: √ Empty Page / Homepage / Current Webpage / Custom URL..." Since all I care is empty pages I'm no expert. But isn't that enough?

Camino is a handicap Firefox.... why use it when you can use the new firefox 3 beta... looks similar and is way more powerful

Safari is probably one of Apple's worst apps ever... no home button by default, i mean c'mon

I want new tab and new window buttons in Safari.

Great minds think alike. I'm actually a Firefox user, but ever since I downloaded beta 5 a few of my extensions have yet to be updated... so Safari it is, for now.

I used to only use Camino. Safari would not render some sites correctly, but Camino wasn't able to play certain sights with video. I found my happy medium in firefox 3b5. Give it a shot, I stopped using Camino.
