I'm giving Apple one last release to get their act together in battery life. If iPhone 7 does not have significant battery improvements, that sexy new s7 will be mine.

For what it's worth, my 6s+ went all day and night for my normal use...
S7 edge I need a cord by 6 to 8 pm

You are guaranteed device stability updates or security updates almost every 1 to 2 months with Samsung...just don't think you're gonna get the latest major android software update .....I think that's enough though

One thing people kinda forget is that the S7 throttles faster than the 6s which saves battery but kills performance. Despite this ploy, the 6s still comes on top with a better actual performance too.

Your right Apple. Apple doesn't throttle the a9 like Samsung does with the s7 and the battery lasts longer. Standby or not it adds to a better battery life.

If you read my post it said with (my) normal usage, not some lab controlled test. I never even bought a car charger for 6s+ didn't need one...
FYI, again, if one could root this android phone one could more than likely get a very large percentage of battery life back by getting rid of unneeded junk..
If ya all think this is such a great phone..pm me in September..I'll be selling mine

For every possible usage of both phones, the S7 edge lasted longer in all cases than the iPhone 6s Plus. Hundreds of reviews, videos and tests proved this. And you're here claiming that the 6s Plus lasts twice longer than the S7 edge!? TWICE!? how is that even possible lol.

So the S7 edge saves battery life by throttling, but even so, the iPhone 6s Plus with its lower mAh battery lasts longer without the need of throttling even though retina display is more battery consuming? is this correct?

There's the snapdragon variant and then there's the exynos variant. The Exynos got an average rating of 98h battery endurance while the snapdragon variant got 87h. That's still two hours MORE than the iPhone 6s Plus. I'm guessing that they'll last about the same during daily use. But to actually claim that the 6s Plus would last twice as long is quite impossible.

Do the work yourself..your so overly interested in it..Google...xda, s7edge and battery drain..there's your answer..I made a statement based on my everyday useage...not some lab..how many times have I said this now...don't know, can't count that high

Oh ya...I never said twice the battery life...learn to read..my daily use makes me need a cord (battery charger) for the challenged. By 6 to 8pm on the s7...6splus would make it to midnight for me
