So where is the micro led you mentioned?
Search YouTube and you will see Samsung actually has PRODUCED the products I mentioned.
So where is the micro led you mentioned?
I'm not saying anything...I'm just pointing out apple was granted a patent.lol typical Apple. Making patents for bendable oled display when samsung had it in development for years with test samples shown at shows.
But people like you will say "oh Apple could have had it in development for years even before samsung but didn't show it".
Then when Apple releases it you will say Samsung copied Apple.

I'm being serious and I never say this, are you trolling now? You are being prescient and tell me exactly what I am going to say, when I haven't said those things in the past.you don't have to say anything. We can base it off things you have said in the past. If Apple comes out with a bendable display to mass market with 7s and samsung comes out with it after with Galaxy S9 you will say Samsung copied Apple.
If Samsung releases bendable display for S8 and Apple releases it for the iphone 8, you will say Samsung implementation is half baked and Apple did it right.
Samsung never "wins" in your mind. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
It would be interesting to see how reactions to these Android devices would change if they could run iOS. And in a world where all devices were cross-platform, how many people would still choose the iPhone hardware. I prefered the form factor from my previous phone (original Moto X), but changed to iPhone 6 because I wanted iOS. As a person with an an admitted Apple bias, I think some Android phones are very compelling from a hardware and value standpoint. I'd love to run iOS on a phone with an SD card slot, more RAM, better battery, waterproofing, and a lower price point?
Isn't that the same with any phone manufacturer? Do you think someone who buys the S7 knows what android is? They buy the samsung logo. Many probably don't even know what IOS is, they buy the Apple logo.
In my best Yoda voice......." ahhh the farce is stong with this one"I'm being serious and I never say this, are you trolling now? You are being prescient and tell me exactly what I am going to say, when I haven't said those things in the past.
And you are right, Samsung doesn't win lately, at least in my eyes wrt to TV, as they have neutered my 1.5 year smart tv with firmware that has steadily reduced the functionality since the day I got it, but that's another topic of discussion. As far as phones, I have my preferences.
okay I won't bother getting into it.I'm being serious and I never say this, are you trolling now? You are being prescient and tell me exactly what I am going to say, when I haven't said those things in the past.

Why don't you wait when and if that happens with respect to an unannounced technology comes to fruition?okay I won't bother getting into it.
Rule of thumb: Never buy smart TVs no matter the brand. They are usually slower and more clunky compared to buying a separate product to make your TV "smart". (Apple tv, Roku, etc).
EDIT: an example of something you said in the past recently that you prefer iPhone LCD vs Samsung QHD super amoled. So when Apple goes OLED I can safely assume you will still prefer the LCD of the past right? Or will you say "Apple got the color right and samsung screen color was wrong?"
Yah man, the farce flows in all directions; it knows no bounds. In my best Yoda voice......." ahhh the farce is stong with this one"
Announced....kinda like the micro led you mentioned "ahhh contradictory is he" patent does not mean product will ever be made. Why don't you wait when and if that happens with respect to an unannounced technology comes to fruition?

"No Apple will leap frog with micro-led. Let Samsung keep their technology." ....you should probably take your own advice.
Acquisitions like the liquid metal firm huh? That was what 5 years ago? Still no liquid metal products. You should give up now. You're contradicting yourself again. You complain about future Samsung products while touting some unannounced products from apple. Here's where it becomes silly. Nobody knows what apple will announce and what technologies are in future iphones and when. Sure patent does not mean product, but on the other hand, acquisitions such as this: http://www.macworld.com/article/1167917/apple_acquires_fingerprint_scanner_firm_authentec.html accelerated the biggest revolution in mobile device fingerprint scanning, which became the benchmark. Who knows there micro-led research and bendable oled panels might end up.
Let's stop with the "whose contradicted who" stuff. This board is to discuss mobile technology and discuss is what happens here. Nobody knows where any of this stuff leads. If you don't like apples acquisition strategy take it up with them. I correctly gave one example of an acquisition that revolutionized some aspect of mobile phone technology.Acquisitions like the liquid metal firm huh? That was what 5 years ago? Still no liquid metal products. You should give up now. You're contradicting yourself again. You complain about future Samsung products while touting some unannounced products from apple.
The iPhone 7 doesn't need an SD card because it has sufficient internal memory if the user needs it they can purchase up to 128GB. There are also rumours that the 7 may even come with 256GB. Internal memory is superior to external storage. 3D Touch negates the need for a curved screen in terms of functionality.Great, so you expect the iPhone 7 to have as good a low light camera, Wireless charging, SD Card capability, Official waterproofing, Curved Screen & Quad HD AMOLED screen?
Well good luck with all those wishes, let's hope you are right, and Apple offer all of this AND more as you are predicting.

I'm not daming either of them. All I'm saying is that an SD card is only advantageous to me if a phone does not have sufficient internal storage. If I was given the choice I'd always choose to buy more internal storage than have less internal storage and use an SD card. Last year Samsung offered the S6 in 128GB. If they offered the S7 with 128GB internal storage and an SD card slot then I would say that they are offering more than Apple.Just so I can get this clear in my mind.
You are saying that, IF Apple gave memory size options at time of purchase AND also allowed the user to upgrade with a micro SD card if, they found in the future they wanted more storage to simply hold, let's say "user data"
And at this same time, Samsung had no micro SD card slot, and forced a Samsung buyer to sell their current phone and have to re-buy one with a larger capacity as a MUCH inflated price.
You would dam Apple, and fully support Samsungs policy?
Yes?
Probably did this to keep costs down.I'm not daming either of them. All I'm saying is that an SD card is only advantageous to me if a phone does not have sufficient internal storage. I think the did it for two reasons:Probably did this to keep costs down.
I have on been on vacation in San Diego California and using my Gallery S7 Edge. What a performer! I have taken over 300 pictures and 5 videos. Such a smooth end to end user experience it has been with this phone. Battery life has been spectacular. Easily lasting all day and then some with heavy use. Constantly taking pictures using navigation around the southern California freeways and looking up restaurant reviews. I used it poolside and at the beache without having to worry about getting it wet. The night/evening performance of the camera is the best I have seen on a smartphone.
I have the 6s+ and S7 edge. My 6s+ is still battery king for me. But it doesn't have to work quite as hard as the other two because of the lower resolution display it has.Would you say the battery life is as good as the iPhone 6S plus?
I'll look at the reviews. I still have a decent upgrade. So I could still get the S7 as a secondary phone.
