Hehe, and I'm actually quite the opposite. I use my Note 3 a whole lot more than my 5s (much better for browsing) and it can drain in like half a day while my 5s can go 2 - 3 days on one charge because I hardly use it. It really is all about how you use your phone. Although one thing that is indisputable is that standby time is much much better on the iPhone than any Android phone. I don't think anyone can argue that.

Don't worry, they will!

I would have awesome battery life too if I never used my phone.

Actually I have the Samsung Galaxy S5, I'm on it constantly and my phone has never got below 23%. That was only because an app was draining the battery. I removed it and I usually have 50% or more at the end of the day. It's pretty awesome. 16mp camera, 1920 1080p HD Super Amoled Corning Gorilla glass, 5.1 inch screen. Why I've had widgets for the past 4 years(which is just now coming to the newest Iphones)Fingerprint unlock, heart rate monitor is pretty cool also. 128MB can be added to the 16MB. Oh and the battery doesn't need fixing, but Super Saving Power mode works like a dream.

I like apple products. I am disappointed in some of them, but I've invested into the environment and am not keen to switch everything back. Additionally I am a mac user and cannot see myself switching anytime soon for similar reasons.

I disappoint myself by sometimes responding to trolls in an ill thought out manner

What I would never do though is scout the internet for Samsung or android forums, and feel the need to register so that I could express my opinion.

I wonder what motivates people like you? Is this really the wrong in the world that you choose to invest your time in to correct?

Based on the battery size increases in the iPhone 6 and 6+, we should expect them to meet and exceed the S5's battery life. We'll see though.

People like me? I had NO idea that it meant mac/apple users are the only ones who could comment or have an opinion in an OPEN forum. I mean I DO have the phone they are talking about in this video. Smh dude I was testifying that it has a lot of cool features AND as good of a battery life as they say.

Not only apple users should be here. But to seek out a forum that so as to provide a counter opinion strikes me as sad. Unless of course your intent is to right a wrong. Then my original criticism holds true.

I am GENUINELY sorry for you. So sad.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to feel sorry for me or sad for me. This was linked in an article and I came to see what it said. I disagreed with the guy who I actually responded to. Unless of course he meant that iPhones have a longer life because they don't do much. Oh well, please don't feel sorry for me, because what you think of me has no effect on my life. :)

I know. I should have said that I feel sorry that the world has attitudes such as yours in it. It doesn't give anyone anything. The same is true of most of what I do to of course. It's just that yours happens to get my back up.

Actually I have a great attitude, you just caught me on a bad day :) hope you have a great one :)

My 5S shows 24% battery, after Usage 7 hours 53 minutes and 2 days 21 hours standby. Is that poor? ok? good? Wifi is on 24/7, phone is on 24/7, screen brightness I keep about 50%, turning up if need be. The usage is email, web, music streaming on BT to my UE Boom. App use a lot.

I would call that quite poor. My Note 3 has wifi enabled both home and at work (I switch it - and a lot of other settings - on/off when I leave home and arrive at work using NFC-tags), BT on all the time (I use it both for my Galaxy Gear Fit that is connected 24/7 and my BT stereo headset which I use most days for a couple of hours, but due to the battery in the headset itself I switch it off when not using it), I always check e-mail, Facebook, the news and so on while going to my workplace and listen to podcasts/Spotify often.

I charge at night, and when I go to bed it is usually 17-18 hours since I disconnected the charger and I am very rarely below 30% battery capacity - usually closer to 50, but probably not to last an extra full day, when I plug it in to charge it again.

I have no problems going on a 2 day business trip with just a spare battery instead of a charger though - I do that frequently and have never been out of power.

The note 3 has a 3200 maH battery, the 5s has 1560 maH. Not saying the Note 3's battery life isn't great, but why wouldn't it be?
