Anyone get the exclusive blue colour from the Samsung website? Looking forward to seeing the matt black and also the blue colour in the flesh.

I'm boring so just went with black/black, but that blue color with the black trim looks really good and was very tempting.

Well, for me, Pages, Numbers, iMovie, Podcasts, garageband, and facetime, are totally useless, just taking up space and never being run by me. (but they somehow are launched anyway) Sounds the same to me. (redundant, useless apps.) I have to delete them on all my apple devices, just like I have to delete redundant useless apps on my Samsung Flip.

I really don't mind it much on either type phone as it's easy to get rid of what I don't want.
But that's totally different to what Samsung does with their mobile devices. Those apps that you mentioned might be useless to you but they might be useful to another user, especially if they are using their iPad with a keyboard and creating documents etc and then uploading them to the cloud where they can continue when they get back to their Mac.

Also those apps that you mentioned, can be easily deleted and would need to be downloaded again if you want them, including a full device reset. With Samsung, several of their core apps cannot be deleted and reappear if you do a device reset as they are part of the OS image.

That’s because I’ve been using an iPhone since the 3GS and currently in iPhone 12 miii after my 13 mini has been stolen.

It’s VERY objective. Try apples advance encryption add a person on iOS and enter the wrong password a few times. Then see there is NO prompt to your approved iOS contact nor for you to prompt them!

Then reboot and watch that timer get reset! Try out my complaints before calling them non objective!

You obviously have a different definition of objective to anyone else if you really thought that term could be applied to your OP.

And those samsung apps might be just as usefull to others.

I haven't seen any I couldn't delete or use. I bet those apps for iPhone come back on a device reset too...

Just because you disagree with the points I’ve made doesn’t mean they’re not objective. Using iOS for several years and iterations Apple promises a few things, delivers on many yet there are some features and functions that are half baked and left ignored for new features in each update.

Funny how you’ve yet to discern a reasonable rebuttal on the topics of iOS I’ve laid out though.

Your claim of not being objective is noted yet fails completely without a direct rebuttal on my points. Instead you just attack with disagreement.

Enjoy & take care.

Really Cool Flip, but there's no iOS :(
And yet still there is no Apple product that competes lol. Until then there is no point to complain about no iOS. Apple is not competing in this space. It’s not their focus.

Clearly there is demand for this product category and it’s continually growing - 1.3million pre-orders in the first week alone and all are shipping. Many competing products are out there, only 2 being global. There will be more soon enough.

It can be argued that Samsung is leading the space in terms of hardware reliability, software stability and features.

Send Apple your feedback to request a valid and strong competing product with software. The more sent in the likelihood of Apple delivering increases , and competition gets better for everyone.

Oh, I know that, and I still want to dream, complain and looking forward just for the fun of it 😉
Sooner or later I think Apple, for heavens sake, have to give us flip flips.

But I'm more than ok with my Mini for now, but I can dream of what I want next, but that is maybe in 2 years earliest for me. So even if Apple releases Flips this year I wouldn't buy it anyway, as it's not on my schedule. I rarely buy v1 of Apple stuff, unless I desperately need it.
