Apple by doing what it's doing and consumers by not buying Tabs AKA WE.
I think its just a matter of time before Samsung gets it's way all over the globe. I think Apple is gonna have to keep innovation ahead of the competition.
The Australia lawsuit was based on touch screen and gesture patents, not the appearance of the products.
Are you saying this as an individual well-versed in copyright law or as an Apple fanboy? Companies regularly skirt the law on some aspects of copywritten material, but it is not 'tantamount to theft'.
Oh and the stolen car analogy was weak. Car manufacturers are constantly ripping off each others' designs. Just look at Audi.
That is a very unreliable source to quote, a competitor?
India is a minuscule market in terms of Tablet sales, even in that market in the 9 months ended June 30 ,2011 70000 Samsung tablets were sold (all were 7 inch one)
Adding figures word over will make it millions of tablets sold. That is some threat I reckon

I wonder why most of your posts sound like this:
'Why?'
'What?'
'What did Samsung steal?'
If they didn't steal/infringe, Apple's case against Samsung would have been dismissed on the very first day.
To a lot of people, it is clear how Samsung actually stole Apple's product in terms of design, software and marketing. If its not that obvious to you, at least do not sound rhetorical by asking the same question again and again and ignoring the entire lawsuit series b/w the two; and then ask people to stop trolling.

Design wise, they look similar, but not identical. the iPad wasn't the first to have the design. Samsung had a digital frame that looks a whole lot like the iPad in the front. It came out before the iPad did. Sure, they are not the same kind of device, but all that matters should be "Which company had the design first?" and that's Samsung.
Android looks nothing like iOS. Period.
Samsung doesn't market the same way Apple does. Period.
You know reading through these responses, I now know what people mean by the words "fanboy" or "blind follower." Honestly, when people say you lot are of a different breed, they weren't kidding. For you, when the courts rule in Apple's favor, they are absolutely correct in doing so. When they rule against Apple, it's considered a completely botched decision and the competitor is still considered to be the pathetic "copycat."
Just because this is an Apple centric forum, doesn't mean it is a forum void of any logic or common sense thinking. For some of you, it almost seems like the second you buy an Apple product, you become like the borg. You lose all individual thought and use words like, "We", "Us", "Them", etc...
Apple doesn't care what happens to you or your family. So why act like they are your family? 😕

Apple's lawsuit base on a community design from 2004, 2 years before the Samsung picture frame you are referring to.
Android is a cheap copy of iOS. Period.
My opinion. Facts definitely prove this; but whatever! There is never going to be any consensus on this.

And this clearly shows why I'm asking those questions, to show how people like you, the OP and more don't know anything about the case of about the laws and only are jus taking a position because some loved company says so.
