I'm kinda pissed. See my girlfriends order number was after mine but there was a hold up with my card. Cleared that. Hers shipped yesterday priority overnight. Mine shipped today and guess what type of shipping, 2 day. Wtf? So now it looks like Monday for me. Smmfh

I have been an iPhone user since iPhone 3G, and love my iPhone 6 running iOS 9 public beta 5. Though I’d check out the Samsung 6S Edge through the promotion. My thoughts are that the iOS operating system is more solid and user intuitive on iOS 9 beta 5. The application options and functionality are better on iOS. But the camera and screen on the Samsung 6S Edge are leaps and bounds ahead of the iPhone 6. I cannot believe how much better the screen quality and picture quality really is on the Samsung. Apple really needs to step up its game and double up on pixel density, add OLED displays, and hopefully adopt a better light sensor with some more pixels to boot. Additionally, the Samsung has some awesome little features that the iPhone doesn’t, not deal breakers, but would be nice to have. Such as the built in heart rate monitor (that is accurate with my Garmin heart rate strap), side clock display, split screen, and endless customization. I won’t be getting a new phone until fall of 2016, probably will be an iPhone.
I agree with screen PQ. The phone charges up VERY fast. The screen size is better than our iPhone 6. I like screen rotation (same as iPhone 6+?). Listen to Spotify a lot. Nice to have the phone on its side...

Got mine in today, I've had it 15 minutes and I've already dropped it. I've owned about most of the iphones and can't say that I've ever really dropped one. This doesn't bode well.
It runs damn hot, while charging at least. Importing from an iphone will put every non-deleted reminder as current.
LOL I got a message to 'Call Dad" by Feb 3rd 2013.
Anyone else remember Samsung saying that we can keep the accessories on the site? Now, on the return instructions it says they want them back.
Now that my ranting is done, The screen is very nice. Or maybe it's the theme. but it's bright and beautiful either way..

One last nit-pick. How the heck do you tell if you have service with this thing?
Okay, one more.. Trying to find the weather the device pinned me in North Hollywood, so they changed my time for me and everything.
Problem is.. I'm in Vermont. A wee distance from Cali.

I disagree with screen quality. It's nice but the colors seem off and often too saturated. I still don't get the whole "edge" thing. I haven't seen one thing pop up on the "edge" yet. The camera is pretty nice and has a ton of features. Altgough I'm not sure how much that has to do with the hardware. The split-screen is interesting features is interesting. I'm hoping the iPhone 6s plus gets the ipad multitasking feature.

Yeah I do remember reading that they didn't care if some of the cables were missing. As far as weather goes, you have to turn location mode to High Accuracy or something like that.

That's how i found it also. I meant the order number. I'm about half zombie this time of year, long hours and all.

I got an email from Samsung today saying it shipped, and to expect it 8/26. It's slotted for delivery tomorrow. I wonder when they started the timer on these things, I mean if I don't get it back to them on what they call day 31 will they bill me the full price?

Maybe it's in the paperwork. Can anyone fill me in?
There's something in the terms about a five day grace period (I think). I just got mine today though and it says I only have 28 days remaining. You can find that number in the test drive app under My Trial.

Does anyone know when the device needs to be returned? I was expecting something in the box to let me know. Is it 30 days from ship date, delivery or order?
I think it's mentioned in the terms. I think there might even be a short grace period to account for shipping but don't quote me on that.

popping sim card basically means putting your current sim on the NEW NOTE 5 and since is Verizon it comes automatically unlocked, depending on your carrier you might have to set up the APN to receive data and MMS.
I called Verizon from this phone and got routed to the business accounts customer support. They were trying to pull up the account for this number thinking I was with Samsung or something. I had to explain the trial program because she was not aware of it. She recommended I don't swap the sim because it might mess with my unlimited data plan.

In the test drive welcome app there is a section called "My Test Drive" that has a counter of how many days left. Then there is a 5 day grace period for shipping.

I'd love to review this program.

However, it has now been a week, and Samsung claims to still be out of test drive phones...

I'd think they'd be smart and have more phones in stock exactly a week after the release of the program, and, the same day apple annouced it's next iPhone annoucement event.

Well after playing around with the S6 edge for most of the day i must say i do like it better than my iPhone 6 Plus. The edge thing is pretty gimmick but the screen is so beautiful and man has android come along way from what it use to be. Its right there with IOS in every way. That multi window is awesome iphone 6 should have gotten that feature too with ios 9. Charging is blazing fast i think less than an hour from 0% to 100%. The smart transfer was awesome got everything over so easy and had everything setup perfect. Samsung really trying to steal me.

Sidebar 1: I got the samsung s6 edge on ATT, i popped out my ATT nano sim from my iphone 6 plus and popped it into the edge and everything works flawless didnt even need to do anything. Popped the trial sim into my iphone and it works too lol

Sidebar2 : Got the phone today 8/28 and there are 28 days left on my trial from the Samsung test drive app and that means everyone's phone will come pre-activated with the timer starting on the 26th when i think they were supposed to deliver it. Some people wont get the full 30 days so i dunno how that will work. I think they programmed the phones 4 days before they were supposed to ship then used the 2 day shipping so people would get the full 30 days but im guessing the the shipping problems screwed everything up.

Got mine today S6 edge+. Overall I loved the screen resolution and quality. The + is too big for me. I don't know if I will be able to survive without iPhone while waiting for my new iPhone 6s to arrive.

Overall I liked the phone other than the size and the edge screen is something eyes get used to and it is not noticeable anymore to me that the screen is edge. Anyway I don't think I will switch to Samsung.

I'm coming from 5s.

My Samsung sprint Galaxy s6 edge sprint came.

It's so comical compared to an iPhone

I hit the wrong area of the screen, a message came up warning me that if update the weather widget more then 6 hours between updates, they will charge my phone bill

Permissions suck. You have to agree to everything when you buy an app or else

Settings was hard to find and I felt frustrated.

Being able to have unlimited data for tethering for $1 for an entire month makes it worthwhile

It came with a very short spare usb cord. I have no idea what that was

The headphones looked cheap in a cheap plastic bag

My voice mail had 2 messages Informing me of what sprint services I should try. I'm jealous that my iPhone has no voice mail on it from Tim Cook trying to get me to buy another watch or an extra iPod touch

They want me to sign up for a Samsung account but I'm not interested

One of the voice messages was for a sprint service to transcribe your voice message to email. This was offered as a free trial, this is something that google voice will do for free

I'm worried I'll lose my google voice number for trying this.

Google puts links to favorite apps on your hone screen, like candy crush. And they call us bloated with apps. You click on this icons to go to the play store to download the game.

I was tethering to my iPhone. Leeching off of sprint to download from iCloud.
I hit the wrong button on my Samsung phone. I clicked on smart switch. I thought it was for s voice. A pop up window came up warning. Me that turning on wifi would disable tethering. I hit cancel. The same window kept popping up 15 times. And everythime I hit cancel

They call us bloated yet my iPhone has 88% usable storage then samsungs 75%

People like to make fun of the protruding camera ring, but the protruding square on the Samsungs phone was over 2 times larger. It was taller too. It looks like I could actually scratch my hand with it.

I forgot the luck of the draw, I forgot which phone I was getting and which carrier it was for. I had no clue to which one I got until I opened the box
None of Samsungs emails had any details about the phone.

I don't understand why people even bothered to get the phone if they are not going to give it a chance. You have to go into it with an open mind. Yes there is a learning curve but so is everything else you learn.

Yes there will be things you don't like but to nit-pic everything doesn't make any sense to me.

Has a screen issue fresh outta the box.

Call and get it replaced.

Where did you find the 1$ unlimited data?

Is it my imagination or does the edge+ have not only a bigger screen, but also a smaller frame than the iPhone 6 Plus? And it's significantly lighter.

I thought I ordered the regular S6, they sent me the S6 Edge instead. Set everything up last night, it's really impressive. I don't want to buy a case for it since it's only for 30 days so I'll have to be extra careful with it, but it's pretty sweet. Really easy to move over data, contacts, text's etc. That phone charger is quite a bit bigger though so that's one small thing.

Doesn't look like you have service. Something looks wrong.

the service indicator is that round circle with the slash through it beside the battery. should look like escalating sized bars. with small lettering telling you what type of service you are on.

you're either in a complete dead zone, or the device you got has bad sim / something else wrong with it

and without Data, you're not going to be able to have your system update it's location (since it can't get any data to do so)

It would be really great if we could test drive the Edge Plus but is not available. Hopefully next time it will be.

Im disappointed, I check the site daily also hoping for them to re open it, I would love to try the 6 Plus Edge.

Received mine today. That thing is sexy! Screen looks great and it feels great in my hand. I'm so confused with the settings and menus though. Still have to play more with it.

Took a selfie and the camera is far ahead of ours honestly.

Will keep posting when I find more things.

Alright after about 24 hours - These are my thoughts about the S6edge+

Overall, its not bad. Android is definitely the bottleneck of the device. With that being said, I have noticed major issues with touch screen sensitivity and recognition. I have to click the same spots 3-4 times for the screen to respond, and I need to swipe down from the top 2-3 times for it to work at all. Extremely annoying.

Device is constantly hot, both when charging and when not charging, with minimal usage.

Screen is absolutely gorgeous.. Indoors. As soon as you take it outside, it is completely washed out. Colors are a bit over saturated, but its extremely vibrant.

Phone is a little large for me personally. The main reason why I did this was to see if I want a 6s+ or just a 6s. I feel the 6s is a good size for me. The bigger screen is nice, but it is a hassle to carry around.

Edge display is kind of gimmicky. I do like the nighttime mode with the time, temp and power level on the side of the screen. Very easy to look at, but other than that I see no use of the edge.

For being a high-grade material phone, it feels really cheap. I don't know if its because the back is the world's thinnest glass and thats what I'm touching the majority of the time, or if its the thinness, but I feel like I could snap it.

Battery life isn't that great. I know I have been using it a lot, but I got about 7 hours of usage yesterday. I can easily pull 8 hours on my iPhone 6 running iOS9. I know the Samsung has a larger screen, but its battery is almost twice the size as the iPhone 6.

Camera is absolute crap IMO. I took plenty of test shots between the Samsung and my iPhone 6. The Samsung's photos are more vibrant and more colorful without a doubt, but as soon as you start to zoom in, its blurry. iPhone on the other hand, wasn't blurry at all. I took about 10 photos with each device, and it was the same result every single time. I don't know if its a faulty camera, but this 16MP camera makes my 8MP camera look amazing.

Overall, by no means would I ever make the switch, but it was nice getting to use Samsung/Android. I constantly rag on it, and its not as bad as what I expected (its been completely updated), but nothing compared to my iPhone. My screen is responsive, doesn't run hot and battery is much better.
