I feel so sorry for those who won’t have 120hz display
I do have both 60hz ( iPad Air ) and 120hz ( iPad pro ) devices..it’s NOT day and night difference but it’s still nice on the 120hz, more smoother and less lagging.I am waiting for comments from people who said last year that 120 hz are useless and and a marketing gimmick...Now all of a sudden they are excited for this.
If you don’t have 120hz and have 90hz or 60hz, your life won’t be alter..there’re more important things to worried than refreshing rate on your phone. You’re exaggerating thing.I feel so sorry for those who won’t have 120hz display
These two things are not, in fact, related. However, despite the avalanche of rumors leading up to the 2020 iPhone launch, Apple decided not to include a 120Hz display for the iPhones.
Everyone buys phones. Hardly anyone needs/wants a PC at home. Why do iPhones get this before desktops and laptops?
As an iPhone user, that had a Motorola five years ago, I’ve always missed some kind of notification led on my smartphone, and I think Apple is late to implement this, but yeah, I’m really happy they are implementing an always on notification system. Better late than never, I guess.iPhone Users: But, but. We don't need all these gimmicks....
Apple: Updates devices with these "gimmicks".
iPhone Users: This is the best thing since sliced bread!
FINALLY SOMEONE SAYS THE TRUTH. Jesus christ. It amazes me how so many people will blindly buy an iphone but STILL use Windows.Because Apple has Macs last in it's order of priorities even though macOS is it's best OS. iPhones sell like hotcakes.
haha no with this pace i wouldn’t be surprised if it would be planned for next year..Are we done with S models now?
At least your username is honest. It's a Samsung screen, it's got to s*ck.
Ha? Apple doesn't create any screen hardware. Samsung does. Samsung has this tech in their S line right now that does this. Apple is just waiting on Samsung to allow other makers to use their tech.By the way, Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxid, or LTPO, is an OLED display backplane technology developed by Apple.
Same here. I don't really notice it much on my iPad Pro. I guess it helps w/ the drawing. I don't notice on my Samsung phone much either.I still don't really get the hype for 120Hz on a phone. I definitely notice the difference on my iPad vs my 7 Plus, but drawing with the Apple Pencil is about the only time it feels worth it.
What an ass backwards way of thinking. You act like Apple just straight up buys Samsung phones. Samsung does make other components other than consumer electronics. They are good at what they do.I would like to see Apple get to a point where they can make their own screens and won't have to sub it out.
Kinda silly to ultimately be supporting your No 1 competitor.
I guess that's why they are always copying each other too.
No charger? Fine. Let's both do that.
Locked phone with no battery access? Fine. Let's both do that.
They both dominate the world.
Apple is no longer in the bleeding edge tech business. Just a copy and paste company right now. Let other companies be leaders in innovation. Until someone knocks them off, they'll keep at this pace. Plus their fans don't care and in the end, money talks. So after we get a 120hz display, all that's left is getting rid of the notch and adding a USB-C port. Maybe adding touching ID back and 16GB of ram? Is there anything left for Apple to innovate? 😆
I don't get it either. It's not only screen, but batteries, rams, n many other small components. There are only 4 major cpu builder in this whole world. TSMC, Intel, AMD and Samsung. How the hell is Apple going to pull this off? What an ass backwards way of thinking. You act like Apple just straight up buys Samsung phones. Samsung does make other components other than consumer electronics. They are good at what they do.
The mental gymnastics you people will do to keep that hard-on for hating on Samsung. Like, let it go already.
