A few bumps along the way with slamming everything over. The phone itself is awesome and does not feel big or clunky compared to S24+

First thing I did was check with US Mobile to make sure S25 Ultra's are supported before doing the SIM swap.

Can't figure out/recall how to get my analog clock widget and the bicycle on the lock screen

Microsoft authenticator only brought over a few entries. Delete and reinstall of that app sorted it out.

There were 44 Google Play app updates and ~9 Samsung Store ones.

WhatsApp (separate) backup restore was cumbersome.

All my Secure Folder items migrated and most settings made it (backup/restore of Nova was flawless)

Historicallly, Intune corporate portal took a while to setup the Work folder and O365 apps to appear (some number of hours).

I rebooted after updating Google Play System Update and noticed the Work folder was created and a few of the MS apps were there.
The cycle clock widget was from goodlock app ?

Company portal/in tune is dependant on your company privacy settings, so always a few issues there, my company is very intrusive so I run it alone on my Flip 5 and not my Fold 6

else seems all good :)

If Jet Black was available I would probably have gotten that but Titanium Black looks nice too.

Clock widget is from ClockView app test I've used for eons (it is also on my home screen).

Looks like Lockstar and Navstar aren't yet availble for A15. IIRC, Same was true when A14 was released.

When I open GoodLock it kicks an error: "There was a problem connecting to the server. Please try again later".

I love that clock widget you have there! I tried searching for ClockView but get a time check in type of application.
Can you provide a link?

Looks as though it is no longer available in the app store .

That clock, Boost (reddit reader) are probably my two all-time favorite apps of any mobile device platform. Cyclemeter and Tapatalk are also great (too bad so many sites bailed on Tapatalk acce$$).

I was referring to the other clock you had on your old phone :)

I tried the S25 series today at the store. My impressions (owner of S24+):

- The Ultra is the best Ultra of recent years, thanks to it being the most comfortable to hold and use in the hand. The weight difference versus S24 Ultra is noticable. Still, not the most comfortable big phone out there (15 PM IMO).
- Compared screen quality and brightness with my S24+ and they are 99% identical.
- Did not like the blue S25 color in person. In marketing pictures it looks better.
- One UI 7 is, IMO, the star of the show this year. Such a nice overall refresh of the UI. Can't wait to have it on my S24+. Combined with the S25 Ultra, it's a VERY nice experience.

Finally got shipping notification for mine (Reg. S25) that has been stuck on preparing for shipping since Jan 22nd that i ordered within two hours after the event.

Received the S25U and got it set up. Haven't got to play with it much but first impression is great. Love the flat screen/edges and curved corners. I may be in the minority, especially among those who were a fan of the old Note line, but I didn't like the squared off corners. Another thing that I've immediately noticed is the speakers are quite a bit better than the S24U. One thing I always love about the iPhone is how rich and full the speakers sound. Not quite on that level but close.

Tried the Ultra in a shop earlier in the week and though I couldn’t actually hold it as it was bolted down I was surprised how compact it was. A lot smaller than I imagined it to be, and it looked smaller than prior Ultras. Screen seemed good under shop lights, was response and snappy in use.

When I pre-ordered the S25 ultra I picked the anti reflective screen protector to protect it from scratches. I then realized the screen is already anti reflective. Did anyone have the S24 ultra with the anti reflective screen protector? Does it further mute the screen? If I put a temper glass on it wouldn't it add glare?

If you use a regular screen protector without ar coating you will negate the ar coating on the screen. Really annoying.

I bought a Flolab anti-reflective screen protector and have been very happy with it. I don't find the screen muted at all. In my opinion the ar coating enhances the screen letting more of the image and colors through without reflections.

I think you will be happy with it, minus one caveat. If I remember correctly the one from Samsung was a film and not a tempered glass material and glass is always superior to a film.
