How many times now have you mentioned 'i started this thread"? The only reason to even say that would be assert some kind of ownership or entitlement.

You don't like someone calling you out for your hypocrisy. All you want to to is post negative things about a phone you have repeatedly said you don't like and will not get. So all you do is come back and regurgitate negative comments. Then I'm not the only one to see through your negativity. Others have called you out for it as well.

It's been a week since I got the phone and the experience has been great so far. So good I'm even considering selling my 16 PM. I've always preferred Android over iOS but have kept an iPhone around because they're very reliable.
Performance, smoothness, battery and camera are very similar between the two.

I am kinda in the same space as you. I prefer Android over IOS but just have never been able to completely cut ties with my iphone. But I did turn my 16 PM off and out it in a drawer!

There are threads for phones you have and like but you don't participate in those threads. Instead you post in a thread about a phone you don't like. That really says something.....

I absolutely love the madness of this home screen.
I never even got to try it myself as I returned the S25 U this morning. 😕.
And I'm genuinely sad about it but it was literally just because of its size. I'm already missing it and I think I need to stop coming in this thread because I can see myself ordering it again and I have no restraint.

Why does it have to be such a big phooooone 😮‍💨🥹.

How would you go about transferring your data from iPhone to the Ultra? You’d have to find completely different apps for everything no?

I’ve just pulled the trigger on the tab S10 ultra. Arrives today with free keyboard case

Sadly when I pre ordered the S25 ultra I didn’t add the free buds because order and only way to add these was to cancel the order which couldn’t be bothered to. Annoyed really as could do with them now with the tab ultra which I plan to use for mainly media and general browsing

Believe it or not, the comments, both positive and negative from everyone has been really helpful to me in the last 2 weeks. So I say everyone keep doing your thing.

If it weren’t for some of the commentary about it not being an impressive upgrade from the S24, I may not have learned as much about some of the little things that improved (like the ergonomics and battery).

Same, iPads is all I've tended to use. Last time I had a galaxy tab was many years ago. I have a Mac for certain things but this could be my browsing device and media device instead of picking up the Mac. Dex is ideal too and this has bluetooth air actions lol also Al built in with circle to search

I've been using iPhones and Androids side by side for several years and almost all my data is in the cloud.
I use streaming services for TV, music, books and save photos in Google Photos. I use Google Keep for notes.
For browsers I use Brave and Firefox on all my devices.

I don't think enough is said about DEX...It is agreta feature for some.

I actually tried to use the very latest ipad on a trip instead of taking a laptop... eurgh, not great. I tried to get past the usability stuff but what really messed me up was that when the ipad went to "sleep", everything really did sleep including the remote sessions I had going on with servers. Apparently android tablets don't suffer from the same thing and can keep stuff going. Don't know but I'd like to try. (perhaps I should've tried harder with the ipad too but eurgh)

I have tried an iPad as a laptop replacement a couple times in the past. I didn't go well for me. the transition is not smooth and the apps act differently. I could never get used to the mouse cursor either.

It is hard to be an impressive upgrade on what was already probably the best overall device on the market. It is also hard to justify upgrading from S24U to S25U. But the S25U is the best overall device out now and a "major major major major go" if you don't have a S24U. On top of that the changes and refinements in OneUI 7 make it probably my favorite device to use even over the Pixel and I've long been a Pixel guy. I like the live notifications and where it appears they are headed with that also. One less thing I would miss from Apple if I ever were able to give up my iPhone.

Only thing I'm really missing is the apple watch Ultra. I've never had much joy with Samsung watches but I've not tried the Samsung Ultra watch yet
