If hardware is what makes u buy a tablet or phone........smh.

PLS for the win. Its the direct competitor to Samsung's rival LG's IPS display technology.

In a recent article, the iPad 2 was rumored to have a PLS display. We know obviously that is not the case. but these new samsung tablets will.

Samsung uses amoled screens at least on the galaxy phones and they are awesome. I don't think they have backlight bleeding because black turns the pixel off or something...not sure how it works but the blacks are so dark on the screen....it is gorgeous.

On another note...touchwiz is not bad but I would rather not have it. It takes samsung months after a new release of android to update it. They are really behind in tha sense where other tablets using stock android will be able to just take whatever google rolls out and the process will be a lot faster.

Well, the xoom hype has died down due to apparently poor sales so this is the next thing that will be clogging up the iPad forum. It will last a few months before the "next big thing" is released and the cycle will continue.

I really don't understand why people make these threads here: I'd never think of joining a samsung or android forum and posting threads about the iPad, but it seems just about every forum on MacRumors has a high percentage of posts from people who just seem to want to evangelize about another manufacturer's products
