I would be embarrassed to arrange my techno-baubles like that at a coffee shop.
If you are going to a coffee shop and taking off your watch to charge you don’t deserve the watch in the first place. No need to charge your watch during the day. It lasts all day I see no need for charging at a coffee shop or even buying this. I’ve never once thought to myself I need to charge my watch at noon and I’ve had apple watches since the start of them.

About damn time! Didnt know why Apple didnt make a version where one can just plug in a lightning cable into a circular charger pad for the apple watch. I can now start traveling with my apple watch (havent done it because i didnt want to take 50 different charging cables...)

The advantage, besides price, for me is that I can go all USB-C with my devices when I travel. I can leave the Apple charger pligged in at home and carry this with me; plugging it into my Mac, iPad Pro or their charger, or my portable battery pack, as needed.

I’d love to go all USB-C, but until wall chargers support more than 2 USB-C ports, count me out.

Having purchased Satechi goods from reviews on MacRumors, I can confirm that they are very overpriced for what you get. The quality is awful, and when researching this out of my concerns of being ripped off, I found out that Satechi just purchase generic Chinese goods and rebrand them. I got a $70 charger and the manufacturer sells them for $11... also exact same charger is sold under another brand for $25.
Their marketing is deceptive as they make out that they design all of their goods, even looking at their FCC applications for things like wireless chargers, the schematics state the original manufacturer, not Satechi.
