It actually can tho. I won one from a contest here. I tried it just to see if it would when I got it.look at the design - how could it charge an iPhone?

ok, then share a photo here please ...It actually can tho. I won one from a contest here. I tried it just to see if it would when I got it.
For what? You can choose to believe me or not. You seem to have made your mind up already, despite the facts. I never said it was a good iPhone charger. I just stated that it does, in fact, charge the phone.ok, then share a photo here please ...

I agree with you. While not related to this device, I hook up my 12Max to my MBP when I camped out on the sofa. If the iPhone 12Max didn't drain so quickly, I wouldn't need that either.Clever design, but I literally never charge my devices off my Mac. Too slow, and too much clutter. I have dedicated cables for all my devices all over my house that charge much faster and more conveniently than anything that comes from a Mac.
Look at the picture provided in OP and use your imagination. As long as the charging coils match up it works. I have the prior version without Apple Watch charger but it’s the same design and looks like if fits exactly like mine.Because I can’t visualize it so a photo will help
Is this true? Does the Satechi state that both coils won’t work simultaneously? Because if they can, pls change “or” to “and/or”. You could stack AP’s-charger-AW. Someone could even make an accessory holding it vertically.the dual-sided design can charge the Apple Watch or AirPods depending on the accessory's orientation
Looks like it could be 100% of ports if you have a device with two USB-C ports as it appears this device will cover the other port.Hmmm.... $50 and I give up 50% of my ports...
I'll pass.
Agree $30/£30 would be more reasonable. Mind you, Apple charges $29/£29 just for the Apple Watch cable which is daylight robbery. If your mobile and in dire need to just enough juice to get another 1hr +, this might make sense but, not at $50. $30 would be more reasonable, in my opinion.
Same here! One of the best purchases of 2020.Love my Satechi watch charger. Honestly thought they were a 3rd rate amazon brand surprised to see them at apple.com..
I have no complaints with any of their products
Enjoy! I considered but passed. Already have 2 watch pucks (AW3 + AW6; home + travel bag) and NON-wireless charging Airpods case (so useless for that). When I'm completely, comfortably out + about, pre-pandemic style, accessories w/b SEVERAL generations ahead. I'll reconsider then 😊I debated buying their separate apple watch and Airpods chargers a little while ago but didn't want to read two. It's like they read my mind, and now they're going to hose me for it
I just bought it, but reasonably this isn't very useful during a pandemic. Hopefully it will prove useful in the future
Agree! I have several band styles. At least Milanese crumples down flat vs sport loop. I solved that with $10 standing silicone surround that holds charging puck vertically.Such a shame that so many of these ultra-portable wireless watch chargers tend to forget that a lot of us have a loop band. This looks like you'd be using a wobbly laptop if you had a watch being charged with something like the Milanese Loop.
Even better in-car w/110v just flip for use. I can see console mods fust for theseI debated buying their separate apple watch and Airpods chargers a little while ago but didn't want to read two. It's like they read my mind, and now they're going to hose me for it

Looks like you give up 100% of your ports. So while you charge your watch, you drain your laptop. No thanks.Hmmm.... $50 and I give up 50% of my ports...
I'll pass.
