I found a workaround!

Aelalfy, you said this annoys you because if you put your phone into sleep mode, then immediatley realize you have something else to do, when you push "sleep" the second time, the lock screen flashes, then comes back on (sometimes it may not).

You wish to be able to slide to unlock IMMEDIATELY after locking, without any kind of delay.

Heres your temporary solution....:D.....go to "Settings" app. Then go to "Activator" then set "double press Sleep Button" to Lock/Unlock.

Now when you are done using the phone, hit the sleep button. If you immediately need to re-enter the phone, simply double click the sleep button, therefore giving you 3 presses of the sleep button total. It will immediately take you back to the homescreen.

UNFORTUNATELY, the delay is still present, so from the Homescreen, you hit "Sleep" 1 time to go to sleep. You must WAIT a 1/2 second or so, then double click "sleep button", in order to get back to the homescreen flawlessly. I know this isn't perfect, but since you get to skip the "slide to unlock", you can get back to the home screen FASTER than you could before Jailbreak.

We still need a software fix that ignores gestures unless they are programmed through activator, but I've been having the same issues as you and I'd rather do it this way then to lose SBSettings altogether (NOT gonna happen ;))

Lol I must give you credit, thats pretty smart, I didn't even think of that. Still a workaround, pretty damn good one but still annoys me. I'm not hating or mad, just don't like it. I rather let the developers know and have them try to fix it if they could. I mean this is really a deal breaker for me. I hate it because without it the phone feels clean and smooth, the way it was initially without the jailbreak. so far I'm really enjoying the jailbreak and have donated and thanked the developer. So the only thing that would make this the perfect phone for me, is having LOCKINFO, and having it run properly without that glitch.

Please to all that read this. A couple of posts above, I have posted a link to the issue that I have created on the developers site. Please go and vote/comment to make them aware of this glitch.

Thanks
AE

No worries, I also wanted to mention that I don't currently have LockInfo installed, and I still have the laggy lockscreen issue, so its definitely an Activator thing.

LockInfo DID however, kill my battery very quickly, anyone got any advice to prevent this? I already turned disabled "Mail" from the lockscreen.

I restored my phone and installed apps one at a time, finally found it was activator and sbsettings and googled and came across this link.

This bug really needs to be fixed, its a pain in the ass and very shoddy. I've uninstalled sbsettings and activator till its fixed.

Hi cyrax83,

Yea this is a really annoying issue, leaving me with no other choice but to not install anything involving activator. I'm not a programmer and don't understand the use of activator except to access shortcuts. I just want lockinfo installed, i dont see it depending on activator. Ryan can correct me if I'm wrong.

I finally brought this issue to his attention and he seems to have commited time and effort to fixing this issue with the release of 1.4.1. I hope he has time to continue the fix or maybe an overhaul. I would really appreciate it of course.

Thanks
AE
